Functionally, these crimpers perform as well as any I’ve used for crimping insulated terminals. They are fantastic and I have zero functional complaints. My ONLY minor gripe is that they don’t leave the nice little visible dots that confirm you crimped the terminal with the correct die, but that’s not typically a requirement, and if it is for your job, then you probably aren’t looking at these crimpers!

Have a project coming up that requires crimping a lot of insulated terminates. This will do the job. Has the feel of a real tool. Good finish, good details and seems to work just fine. The real story will be how it holds up in the long run.

I have used this for about a month so far. I have made a perfect crimp with it every time. No pierced insulation. I will update in a year or so.Update:Still working excellent! I did adjust the clamping tightness 1 notch today as I was able to pull the wire out of a connector I had just crimped.

I only did a few test crimps with some 12ga stranded wire I had handy and I was impressed. I crimped on heat shrink terminal and a non insulated splice connector. I went one size smaller for the non insulated/non heat shrink connector It did just fine.One reviewer mentioned the jaws didn’t line up, mine didn’t either. I simply loosened one of the jaw mounting screws and centered the jaws up, still does the job with the jaws on/off center a little. Remember this is less $20 direct from China, just a step up from Harlem Fraud junk, let’s not get picky.

Was looking for crimper specific for crimping heat shrink type terminals. This tool seems to do it perfectly without damaging insulation. Price is reasonable.
