Sindermore Aluminum-magnesium alloy hard shell luggage suitcase (Black, 25 inch)

We feel sick with the luggages that bought from Costco. There are too many similar ones in the airport, it is just too difficult to find your own.:) Wife has two domestic trips planned and she wants a different luggage. This one is not cheap, but says made with aluminum. We decided to try something different and bought this one. My dog (from the photo) can tell that he likes it. The design looks cool and you can feel it is made with real aluminum. Overall, this seems to be a nice luggage. My wife can not wait to try it.

It came to me dented and I am not going to blame the product for this, probably happened during delivery but who knows. I just took a trip abroad with it. There were a couple small dents that happened during travel, so I would expect denting. The problem was upon arrival at my hotel one of the locks would not open. I finally had to pry the suitcase open. It's now ruined. So for that reason I give it a bad review. Also I would echo other comments that the interior seemed cheap for the price. The aluminum is cool but I think the cheaper plastic cases work fine and are lighter.

First the good, the luggage looks beautiful and rolls nicely. The bad, is that modern metal luggage uses thin aluminum that dents, and shows rips, scratches and scrapes easily. Aluminum that dents means that very quickly your latches and hinges go out of alignment and even sooner, they break. One of my latches no longer closes and it got that way after 1 round trip; and I need a strap around the luggage to keep the suitcase from springing open. These modern pieces of luggage are nowhere close to the military aluminum suitcases of the 40’s and 50’s in terms of metal thickness and ruggedness. Because of the high price of the luggage you will be better off purchasing high quality fiberglass luggage and just replace it as required after 5-10 years. It’ll be cheaper in the end and your luggage will look beautiful. On the other hand, my Sindermore luggage makes me look like a poor world traveler with its dents, scratches gouges and straps. Some people may like that though.

Haven't used it yet everything is there and works. Delivery was prompt and without damage. so all is good right nowValue we will see after use will it holdup to the baggage handlers who know right now feels sturdy

Opened the box to find a couple broken rivets and broken inside buckle. Looks nice but quality isn’t there for the price... If it cant handle travel while packed in two cardboard boxes.... how is it going to preform on it’s own...

High quality and super light. The handles, wheels and latches are the difference between this and lesser quality cases. Would buy again. It looks and feels good.

The hard shell is very low qualy and will dent under normal handling by carriers.

Lock is bad .. i would like to return ..
