Printed black, not actually black paper
This book has more the feel of a book you read, rather than a note book. Texture is nice, and gel pen worked well, but the pages are printed black, rather than being full, black paper. They don't have any gloss to the black, so that definitely helps the gell pens to show.

Not black paper. Black lines printed on white paper. Love the outside but this isn't what I wanted

Love it
I bought this to use with gel pens. It works great. While it's not technically a notebook more like a book it still serves it's purpose. It is lined so if you want solid black paper it isn't for you.

Exactly what it was supposed to be I've had a really hard time finding black paper so I was super excited when I found this.
