Shaving Cream For Men - Vegan Friendly Peppermint Shave Cream - Extra Large 150ml Pot With ‘Easy Grip’ Lid

I used the GFCC cream today I acquired from Amazon, ordered Saturday and delivered Sunday afternoon. Brilliant service. If you have any queries send Jenny an emailJenny Wright <[email protected]>I originally did not like peppermint as a scent, however, using the Barts Balm products it has started to grow on me, i actually really like the face feel the mint gives. Therefore, this new cream was ordered. 150ml for under £6, and British made.I decided on a bowl lather using a small almond sized bit of cream, working it in with the soft Omega, using only the tips of this soft brush & water drops as it started to "rise", in no time at all i had a really thick slick lather, to be honest i could have kept going to reduce the thickness of it with a bit more water, however, i decided to use what i had. It went on the chin easily and gave a good covering, it also has staying power and did not change its consistency throughout the shave. The scent is quite good and not synthetic and overpowering, it feels nice on the face and is slick and creamy. The performance during the shave was very good and i had more than enough for my 3 pass shave. WTG, XTG & ATG i was using a Vintage Ever Ready Heavy Flat Top Single Edge Razor and you need a good cushion, i had it with the GFFC Cream. I love these vintage razors and the cream did help the shave. So BBS Skin feel and very comfortable, would i recommend the cream? Yes although YMMV.

I was skeptical at first because the price is a few £'s cheaper than the other brand but I received this yesterday and I am completely blown away.I received this yesterday and opened this morning to give it a try. There was a small amount on the lid so decided to use that. I lathered it up and boy does it go a long way. Put it straight on my face with a brush but without using a bowl and it goes on like a dream.I was particularly interested as it was Peppermint and the smell is wonderful and cools the face down lovely.I shave multi directionally (down, up and diagonally to the chin) and the small amount I applied was enough to reapply 3 times and still have plenty to work with. Could probably have gone on to shave another 2 or 3 people and still have leftovers. All with no irritation at all.Ill definitely be buying again

Update: I continue to be impressed with the performance of this cream. I keep thinking I've created a decent bowl lather but when applied it explodes into a thick, creamy lather, yet still has glide. Very responsive customer service too. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could (got to leave room for improvement!) For me, this cream sits at the top table.initial impressions.I purchased GFCC Peppermint as a potential alternative to some of the other minty/menthol creams out there. I decided to test its 'cooling freshness' on the hottest day of the year! Very first impressions were a little underwhelming. The tub looks slightly small in comparison to other 150g/ml offerings and on opening it seemed as though a chunk was gone. Maybe it's just how it settled (I can't verify the quantity), but it doesn't give the best impression.Fortunately, things got better from there. The scent is definitely peppermint-y rather than menthol. It's noticeable but fairly light. Personally, I don't think this is a bad thing, I don't always want to be hit in the face with 'minty fresh'.On to the shave. Lots to like here. Using a small amount of product (about a pea-sized snurdle), even with hard water I generated more than enough thick, creamy lather. What really stood out for me though was the slickness. I was impressed with the glide of the razor. This is better than I have achieved with other well-regarded creams, e.g. TOBS. Probably due to this I was also left with a great post-shave feel. I didn't get much if anything in the way of a cooling effect though.Performance-wise it's looking very good indeed. The only let-down really has been wondering whether the tub has been properly filled. The scent is obviously subjective but I can't see it being objectionable to anyone. Personally, the performance is more important (the glide!), though I would like to try other scents, as I suspect I would reach for them more often given the choice and equivalent performance.All said, well worth trying.

Expected a stronger mint scent, but after using it twice I get it.The cooling effect while you load up and shave is very, very good.If it had any more strength on the mint it would be overbearing.This product is just the right intensity for a relaxing shave.It's the kind where you get the benefit as you shave, there isn't much scent after you are finished.

This cream is amazing. Don't be put off by the Peppermint description as it is hardly noticeable and certainly not there after shaving. I was very surprised how little you need to apply on the shaving brush, only a light touch and it produces plenty of lather, enough for two shaves should you need it. It is creamy, smooth and as you use so little for each shave will last for a long time. It is well worth the money at £5.97 for this fragrance. I stocked up and bought 3. Enough said.UPDATE: 4 months on and still half a pot left. I have learned that you only need to lightly touch the cream to create plenty of lather on the face so at least another 4 or 6 months left. A smooth shave at a bargain price why would you buy anything else.

I’m a recent convert to double edged razor shaving and am so surprised by it. Such a revelation with shaving being enjoyable! A key part is the shaving cream. I recently discovered this one. Lovely texture and a gentle minty scent, not eye watering like some strong ones. A little is all you need for a shave 9or even a 2-pass shave if you use a brush). The packaging is compact and recyclable so good value and eco friendly. Highly recommended. Looking forward to trying out more of the Gentlemen’s Face Care Club range
