Use these over a bluetooth mic mounted under a motorcycle tail section. The drawstring is the key component here keeping the mic from accidentally falling off (the mic is magnetically attached to the mount) and giving access to the mic when I need it. I use a trimmed foam mic cover inside the cat as well. Wind buffeting is virtually eliminated. Holds up OK getting slightly wet but I consider this item a disposable anyway.

This dead cat does a credible job of reducing the plosives generated by wind hitting an iPhone microphone. It doesn't eliminate wind noise, of course, but muffles it and, in my tests, does diminish those aggravating buffeting sounds. I'm a professional videographer with professional gear but on certain occasions I do use my iPhone 15 Pro for a couple of shots. This makes post production of iPhone video a bit easier.

I use this for a game changer feed at baseball. It fits over the end of the iPhone that we use and it blocks the wind noise well

It works if you have a smaller phone. Quality is okay but this is a repurposed cover for a handheld. Turn it inside out and see the almost square seams. Obviously not designed for a phone, especially a larger one

I have this on my Nikon Z30. Seems to do as well a job as the Rode with the dead cat attached, maybe even better.

This little thing cuts the wind right out of my audio feed and fits well. It’s small though and will only fit over a small mic.
