Great variety of dyes and super good quality. We tried tie dye with this kit for the very first time. It came out super good. Thus far love the look we have on our shirts. I will say you might want to let it sit for more than 1 day, that way the pigments really embed themselves into the material you are using.

So fun! Kit includes clear instructions and everything you need (except the clothes and water). The results are vibrant! Be sure to dye items that are 100% or mostly cotton. :) Our group found dying damp items rather than dry yielded better results. We were a group of 5 and felt like the color selection was plentiful with the exception of of the black dye - we would have liked one more bottle of that.

This was my first time tie dying and set worked out great. I did t-shirts for a kids bday party. I washed the shirts and tied them up wet so that the color would more easily soak in. We used aluminum baking trays to avoid a mess. I needed more rubber bands from home and more gloves would have been helpful (I went through several gloves during the party). My hands got pretty stained but it most came off in a day.For about 15 shirts and a few pairs of socks I used about 3/4 of the paints. Instructions say you can’t save the paint, but the next day it was fine. It was a great way to give new life to stained socks.Note: the bottle lids do not fully seal the liquid dye in. Once you fill with water, keep the bottles upright.

Got this kit for my five kids and we had a blast. Lots of dye so get ready with material to use. I will buy this again.

I bought this kit for my two teenagers to have a tie dye day and also to make them both some winter shirts. I bought 10 long sleeve white cotton t-shirts, size 2xl to make sure they had plenty of room to grow and in case it shrinks.This kit held up pretty well, all things considered. The instructions were easy to understand. There was just enough dye to do all 10 big shirts if you were careful (we were). The dye seems to be good quality for what it is (a party kit for kids). We’ve washed and rinsed them all and they faded a little but they are still very bright. The only thing I would caution is that if you are doing larger shirts (not a bunch of socks or something easy like that) to get it deep in the creases or you’ll have a lot of white on the shirts.Everything was pretty good quality: rubber bands, gloves, dyes, tarp, etc.Also just as a side note, my teenagers are both autistic and they were able to do this mostly on their own. Especially my 16yo. 13yo needed a small amount of help but really not much. This kit made it pretty straightforward. None of us have tie dyed before.

As a Teacher, this kit was perfect! So easy to use and it came with everything that we would need. We made these shirts for a field trip & my kiddos absolutely loved them. Definitely recommend!

After applying dye, I put the shirt into a zip lock bag and put a heating pad around it for 24 hrs. Then soaked the shirt in hot water with salt until the water was cool before I started rinsing the shirt in the sink. Dye faded a little bit but not more than I would expect for a good dye. Used pink and magenta and the color on the shirt just "pops" from more than 20 feet. Very happy with the results.
