Throw away yet respectful for all that!
For a retired a 27 year old Japanese porn star turning to Japo-pop, this transition isn't as cheesy as one would expect. Musically, think Kim Wilde, Nena, etc. This is no Babymetal, though some attempt at pop-rock is evident. So are pop ballads no better or worse than Taylor Swift of Rihanna. There's an admirable voice control for a complete novice.Airi and other do-eyed Japanese girly singers seem to be off the production line of Milky Pop Generation, whoever they are.If any of these acts like Airi doubled up these albums in English for the global market, I think they would do better than the companies involved don't seem to realize. This album was a very pleasant surprise.
