Work well
Installed in my 82 Silverado passenger side. Works well and as it should. I thought it would be plastic but its metal. The old one I took out was plastic. Shipped right away.

Works, but be ready to do some DIY.
As others have noted, the included screws, bolts, and nuts are inadequate. I installed this on the passenger side of a GMC Vandura '94.Tips: 1. The included bracket holes for the mounting bolts are not threaded. I drilled out the rivets on the existing bracket to re-use so I could use the original bolts and threaded holes. 2. Included screws and nuts are not adequate to mount the bracket (existing or one supplied with this motor). You will need some washers. I had some long pop-rivets and washers I was able to use instead to solidly mount the existing bracket to this new motor. 3. The top and bottom mounting bolts are hopelessly hard to maneuver into position with the door sheet metal in the way. Don't be shy to be creative with some good aviation snips to give you better access to the bolt head for installation. 4. A dollop of grease on the motor gear prior to installation will help the situation. There are several youtube videos specific to "G Vans" regarding this install. Don't forget to tape the window first!

Works perfectly
Great value over ordering from a classic car/truck restoration catalog. Easy to install and great quality. Works and fits perfectly on a 1984 GMC 3/4 ton truck. I wired my window switches and motor through realays, which significantly speeds the window speed up in both direction and also takes a huge load off the switch. They're not any louder than factory motors and it was a direct plug and play for the factory wiring harness.

great parts
worked great

Needs 5 large bolts and nuts to do the job correctly
5 factory rivets needs to be removed from the rear door of the Buick Skylark once it's removed you have to drill out 3 more rivets to remove the motor 4 small screws and nuts came in handy to put the motor on the lift and the 4 large screws and nuts putting on the door works great π

Perfect Fit Replacment Window Motor
I recently bought a used car - a 1994 Cavalier Z24. Small and black and sporty, with a spoiler and sunroof and grumbly exhaust. With very low mileage for the year (only 65,000, original!), it drives great, but being an older car, it does have it's issues. For one, the passenger side window would not open. Driver side worked great, but passenger side was dead. The previous owner said that the motor had gone bad, so she had paid her mechanic to disconnect it so no one could roll it down and have it get stuck that way. Since it's summer here in the midwest - with 90 degree days - and the car's A/C isn't yet working, I had to have working windows! After a quick search online, I found the part and did some comparison shopping. Turns out Amazon had the lowest price I could find for a new motor. I have bought a lot of stuff from Amazon before, but never car parts. Deciding there's a first time for everything, I clicked "Buy," watched roughly $20 pull from my bank account and then waited patiently by the door.A few days later, my new motor arrived. Packaged simply in a plain brown box with no directions for replacement, so be sure you have some mechanical aptitude and pay attention to how the old motor attaches. I had to drill out the pop rivets holding the old motor and window lift in place, but the new motor did include some new screws necessary for re-attaching the unit. (I did have to use a pop rivet tool and some rivets to re-attach some of the other parts I had to remove to get the motor assembly out)The new motor fits perfectly and works just as good as the driver's side now. Window raises and lowers quickly, quietly and smoothly.Recommended!
