Works well to keep shin guards in place
I bought these for my 10 year old son whose shin guards kept sliding towards his calf muscles during matches. I ordered the Teen size, and they work perfectly. He was thrilled that he came away from a match without bruised shins. The mesh fabric also allows more air circulation, so he is not overheating while playing, either. Because he is younger and smaller, they do not work as compression socks. But that is not why I purchased them. Very pleased!
