Surprisingly good for an instant coffee. I bought these for convenience while selling my house after most of my kitchen stuff went into storage. This coffee is tasty! I like my coffee on the strong side, so I used 1.5 package per cup. I was very pleased that I could find an organic AND decaf coffee in packets--wow. Thanks for such a great product!

Did some comparison taste testing and this came out on top. Organic and great flavor without the caffeine. This not a dark roast that's neither good or bad. If you like the almost bitter taste of dark roast this is not for you. If you like a classic middle of the road great diner type of coffee this is for you. No surprise that Amazon is far cheaper than Whole Paycheck (aka Whole Foods) and far cheaper than starbucks Via. You'd think that making instant coffe is intuitive. There is a another counter intuitive way. Many decades ago a young Greek gentlemen in Athens showed a way to make instant coffee that is still my preferred method. Maybe because I grew up in London I prefer to boil my water on a stove top over nuking it. While the water heats mix the instant coffee, granulated sweetener of choice (Splenda for me) and if using a non dairy creamer powder that as well into a thick paste with a little of the water that is heating. Then when the water achieves a rolling boil pour into the cup and stir. This method results in a nice foam (creama) on top that just pouring water on the coffee granules and then adding sweetener and creamer will not achieve. Enjoy.

Best instant decaf ever. I like a fairly bold taste but a clean finish and this does the job. I mix with only 6 oz water for full bodied taste. Great value and better than SB's decaf anyhow.

I purchased Mount Hagen Decaf because I was intrigued by how strongly positive the reviews are. It used to be that I would "never" drink decaf, but now I regularly make myself a large cup. For me that is two sachets in 14 ounces of hot water. It results in what my palate finds to be the perfect coffee flavor - not bitter or over-roasted, but just good well-rounded cup of coffee - such as I find in my favorite light-medium roast premium coffee beans from Ethiopia. In my long life I've tried most all of the instant coffees that are readily available and I had never found an instant coffee, either regular or decaf, that I liked very much - until now. Mount Hagen Decaf is a very enjoyable cup of coffee, and I never feel that I've compromised by making myself a big cup of decaf.

To be totally honest, I do not agree with the reviews that say that this takes just like drip coffee or better.That only tells me that they've never brewed a cup of coffee correctly in their life.But considering this is instant coffee, this is one of the few brands that tastes decent and enjoyable.Knowing that it is organic might have a slight placebo effect, too.Give it a try!

I get decaffeinated coffee because I like the taste of coffee. This product did not satisfy my needs because it doesn't taste like coffee. Normally, I add half and half and some sugar to a coffee and it still tastes pretty strong. This product, however, without any creamer or sugar, already tastes pretty bland.

Our office has bought into the Kuerig craze. Terrible coffee and terrific waste. So, I bring my own - such great, deep, coffee flavor, plus it's organic and free-trade! I know I could cut down on waste even further with a jar, but I do appreciate the convenience of single serve.I discovered this brand when preparing for a camping trip; it far-exceeded my expectations and is now my go to!
