I owned and ran a natural skin oil business for several years. We sold virgin, extra virgin organic oils. Some were certified in the US and others in the EU. Some Tamanu oils are richer than others. This bottle was quite rich and had the scent, color and consistency of the Tamanu from Vanuatu that I sold. It’s not an inexpensive oil and this was priced well for 4oz. We sold quite a bit to people who had radiation burns from cancer therapies. Tamanu works well to soothe inflamed skin. My Admin was diabetic and had issues with skin healing. She has a small burn that after a month hadn’t healed and the Tamanu worked quickly for her. She thought the oil thing was like witchcraft until it worked for her and then she understood. Some use this for facial skin but the scent can be objectional to some but worth it to have available for skin irritations. It has a distinct scent - I call it a organic rich deep fruity scent. Very distinct. Knew immediately that this was the real thing. Some people also use Tamanu to help acne scars. I always recommended extra virgin Rosehip oil from Chili for scarring because it has special skin properties with a much lighter fragrance for the face. This is a very oily oil as opposed to dry oils like Moroccan Argan and Brazilian Maracuja oils which absorbs quickly into the skin. The skin is the largest body organ and most creams simply don’t penetrate skin tissue which is why so many of us need to constantly use body and hand cremes. Fine skin oils stop the dryness even when washing your hands often during the day.This arrived nicely packaged in a two part box. It came with a screw on cap and under the second section is a dropper and a pump so you have a choice how to use. Also it’s in a good quality dark amber glass bottle. Exp 2/29/28. Just the bottle, dispensers and box can cost several dollars right now so this was a very good buy for this oil. It’s a staple in my cabinet.

Got this for my mom who's in her 80s. Applied it to her forearm daily which had unhealed scabby scars. After only a week, she was shedding lots of dead skin, and the old stubborn scabby scars were healed. Her arms look so much better. This oil is absolutely amazing.

It calmed my rashes down immediately. The itching and the look of them. It stinks but it work. Mix it with your favorite lotion.

Arrived well packaged - no leaks, no damaged bottle, pump and dropper intact. It's cold pressed and unrefined and a deep green color. That lets u know the legitimacy of the product. Has a smell. Like a cross between raisins or slightly sweet celery. Lol. It doesn't bother us and it fades pretty quick.I'm African American and ordered this product to help clear up mine and my 11 year old son's skin. I have some discoloration I want to clear and he is knocking on puberty's door, so he breaks out alot on his nose/mouth area. We've been using it going on 2 weeks. We love how it feels. Just a drop using the pump is enough. It leaves our faces a bit greasy at first but we use it at night and our skin absorb it anyways. Leaves it buttery by morning. I use my jade roller or gua before applying and it's legit a spa experience. Lol. Legit product for the price.
