Original Bamboo Memory Foam Pillow (King) Shredded

Pillows themselves are great - I have a terrible back, so I actually sleep with them on each side of my body to support my back while I sleep on my side. They're very firm, and seem like they'll last for some time.Lower rating is for the pillowcase situation. I bought 2 king sized pillows. Because they're so thick and firm, a traditional king pillowcase is nearly impossible for them to fit into (and take a TON of effort to change the pillow into a new case). I contacted the company to see if they had any recommendations for pillowcases that would fit these oversized pillows; their simple response was that their customers use the pillowcases provided (I didn't receive pillowcases with my order) while simultaneously saying they don't sell pillowcases (if you make pillowcases to fit them, and supposedly ship them with the pillows to fit them, why aren't you selling them?)I've ordered some body pillow pillowcases, hoping those will be easier to fit these into, even though those will be way too long. But I'd prefer them to be too long than to wake up every morning with the pillow sticking out of the case, as shown in the pic.Recommend for the firmness; good quality for a reasonable price. Lower rating for the inability to fit into a traditional king pillowcase, and no help from customer service.

I had received 2 bamboo pillows from my sister for Christmas last year and really liked them. So I decided to order 2 king size ones to utilize the kings size pillowcases that came with my sheets. I've now had them for a little over a year and the 4 bamboo pillows are the only ones I use anymore. These aren't as firm as the smaller ones because the stuffing will move from end to end. I usually end up flipping them every other night because of this.The best way to get rid of the smell in these is to plan ahead. These were the 2nd set of pillows I had gotten so I was expecting the smell and tried this and it worked. As soon as you take the pillow out of the package IMMEDIATELY spray it generously with your favorite scent of fabreze fabric on both sides. The first set took a couple day to get the smell to go away, doing this the smell was gone in a day

THIS PILLOW IS TOO BIGIt's a fabulous pillow but I should have read the reviews first. You WILL NEVER USE THIS AS A NIGHTIME HEAD PILLOW. It's just too large. I use it to prop my legs up to relieve back tension. It's almost too big to be an effective body pillow. For me I like to tuck a pillow between my legs and sleep on my side while hugging the pillow. THIS ISN"T THAT PILLOW EITHER.This pillow also works great if you want to sit up in bed and either use it behind your back like a couch backrest or place it in your lap with say your Kindle or Tablet in your lap. This allows the pillow to serve as a desk to rest your arms/elbows.So I have grown to love this pillow as a backrest/leg bench/portable desk while sitting in bed pillow. It's fabulous. Regrettably what I wanted was a comfortable sleep through the night head pillow and this pillow will never serve that purpose. I'm still giving it five stars since it's a fabulous pillow but I bought it thinking that I could lay my weary head on it.

These pillows are incredibly firm and uncomfortable. They are lumpy and do not conform to your head and neck. We waited too long to return the pillows, hoping they would become more comfortable. I finally had to remove the seam from my pillow and removed half the foam which filled one large kitchen trash bag. The foam is not memory foam, and it isn't even all the same type. There were different colors of foam. It appears as if the manufacturer took leftover foam from a bunch of different companies, shredded it, and dumped it in a pillow. The pillow is still fairly hard, but at least now my neck is not strained from laying on an overstuffed piece of crap.

I can not get over how comfortable this pillow is!! We bought two! ( watch the ad because it shows two pillows but you are only buying one pillow for that price) It stays cool and mold to you no matter if you are a side sleeper or back sleeper. I love this pillow. It also come with a travel case that you will never get the pillow back into after you have fluffed it. It comes with a removable cover you can throw in the washer and put back on. That is really nice and it is so soft. Now you don't have to throw your whole pillow in the washer just the removable cover. I would recommend this pillow to anyone.

I just received my pillow. Had high hopes for it. Took it out of the pillow case to fluff and little teeny, tiny pieces of foam got all over my bed and me. Also, see pictures, there is a huge light brownish stain in one of the seams, about 12 inches or so long. It doesn't seem to be filled with much foam either. When I hold it up, it's only slightly more than half full of foam. Think I'm sending it back. I don't know if it's original or not. How do you know?

Smelled funny for the first few weeks, so I left them out in another room to off gas. After a few weeks, they noi longer smelled, so I tried them out. And they swear super, super comfortable to sleep on. I always felt both supported and free at the same time - never like memory foam where you feel "locked in" to a position, and always free to move in the middle of the night.I will say the chemical smell was really powerful at first, so prepare to spend a day or two airing them out., Its totally worth the wait.

If you get the original pillow and not a counterfeit you should be very happy with the purchase. My neck and back pain went away after sleeping on these pillows. The only downside is that after some time, a drier lint-like substance develops on the cover of the pillow. It seems to stem from friction against the fibers of the cover of the pillow. Other than that, the pillow is perfect for anyone with back or neck issues or wants a good night's sleep.
