I am a small womam with curly hair. I don't believe my head is any larger than normal. Standard sized bucket hats are constrictive to a point that can become torture in the sun. Especially when your hair is already very thick. I am in the UK. This is definitely larger than the standard size I jave come across, which is wonderful, but I would actually prefer just a tiny bit more room. I am very happy and would buy again. The colour was true to the photo. I got purple.

Well made and just as it looks online. Is slightly too big. Have to hold it down in the wind! Would be nice it it could be adjusted inside.

The hat was too nice and fitted just right. However the colour is very bright and popping! If you're looking for something more pastel or muted this might not be the one.

A little larger than expected given the stated dimensions (bigger than the large in marks and Spencer) but better to be too large than too small !!Quality is fair for the price.

measurements seemed correct for my head size which I measured before ordering however the hat is pretty big on me. The quality is good and I was in need of a hat for a trip so made do with it being too large as left to late to find an alternative. It does the job but unlikely to stay on in a breezy day I imagine

Good hat, the red was a little bit brighter than I expected. Just right for a Paddington costume, and will now be a handy extra sun hat. I'd say the fit is correct. I bought the small/medium, which was very big on my five year old and just about wearable for me. (I consider myself to have a medium to large head).
