Swiss Raclette (1 pound)

Its a great Raclette cheese, very good and strong flavor, melt very well and its plenty for a dinner for two. I wish could cost a little less, as Its rare in my town to find this type of cheese. I am Swiss, so I know what its about it.

This cheese melts okay in my raclette machine and tastes creamy. The only down side is having lived in Germany for 4.5 years, I've had true French and Swiss raclette there (mostly French) and the cheese I purchased there melted much better. This cheese had a harder time becoming gooey in my opinion; however, since I cannot get any of what I purchased over there here, it works as a nice substitute.

We wanted to try authentic Swiss Raclette cheese when we bought our raclette. It's definitely pungent, but we loved it and will continue to buy it. It melts beautifully and tastes good. If it's too strong, try mixing it with a milder cheese like muenster. We weren't disappointed.

This time I am very disappointed, the cheese was not the same as the last few of my orders. On top of that it was sharp due to older age and dried out, in fact, very dried out and hard. I had to scrape a lot of the outside off in order to get to a little better Raclette flavor

Tried this cheese in France and Switzerland...wonderful...came shrink wrapped to ensure freshness and was delivered very quickly. Excellent quality.

Must be melted to enjoy properly

The raclette is great quality but still expensive for the amount!
