Best Garmin Device Ever
This works great with the app. I first used a Garmin for step counting. Then I got into biking and the steps didn't register. This works great registering bike workouts on the app! The other bike device for motion sold by Garmin doesn't work on the app and you must ONLY buy this one to have the app working with the bike. I love it and use it daily.

Worth the money
Great addition to my bike. It's more accurate than just an app. Works great with my Garmin edge 1040

Doesn't track real time cadence or MPH
Had the replace the battery after a dayI got this bc I have a spin bike indoor with peleton membership - so maybe my beef is with them đThis garmin doesn't track real time cadence (maybe I missed that in the description)/So you have to pay another monthly fee for strava or something to see really time MPH or cadence and I couldn't even figure that out and at this point I'd have 3 apps peloton garmin and strava just to see cadence?I love peloton programs bc they have fabulous music and instructors but unless you have a peloton bike it's impossible for track cadence or resistance (bike wise)It seems like a good device for someone who wants to keep up with there average MPH - if it doesn't burn battery out quickly -I'm not a cycler so it's not really doing much for me. But for someone who is it may be helpful- for an after the fact tracking kind of thing

Added accuracy !
If measured wheel calibration is correct,,, speed and distances while mountain biking in wooded area should be exact. Wooded areas without speed sensor will give incorrect GPS readings.

Just doesnât work
I bought this with a complete disregard for all the negative reviews. Took some effort to get it to wake up and removed the battery. Nothing keeping the battery from making contact. Who knows how long that battery has been active. After a bit of frustration I was able to pair the sensor to my app/watch. Took it for some test rides. It worked just fine. Then of course when I take it out for a trail ride it failed to connect, it failed to turn on and flash the green light. I got nothing and going into the app it showed I had nothing paired for a sensor. Tried once again to go through the process but the sensor just wasnât turning on. No green light flashing, just dead. Itâs a pain to put on and take off and if I have to do that to remove the battery just to get it to wake up⊠not worth the hassle. Really Garmin, whatâs the point of selling these if you keep disappointing your customers and get endless returns. My Garmin watch fails to track my rides accurately, thatâs the only reason I bought the speed sensor. Iâm just gonna use other apps for now on.
