adidas Outdoor Men's Terrex Ax3 Mid GTX Hiking Boot

The application I use these boots for are hunting in mountainous region. What brought me into looking at Adidas mid GTX boots were I wore an older model of Adidas Terrex hiking shoes hunting once and it felt good along with the outside being Gore-tex which was a super plus.If you are looking a 100% full-proof waterproof boot, these might not be the one. As we all know Gore-Tex is an awesome material for wetness. I wore them out one morning hunting after a rain storm, hiking up and down the mountain going through wet brushes and tree branches. You could feel a "wet"/cold feeling once the boot took on some water from the outside which was fine. Once I got home and took off my gear, inside the boot and my socks took on more moisture than I would have thought which made me think water got through. Felt around the inside of the boot and all of the inside walls of the boot were quite "moist", so i would not say water got through to the inside but probably have most peoples feet more moist then they'd like after a hike with weather. Not sure how they'll hold up if I were to be in the Mountains during a rain storm. Food for thoughtComfort of the boot itself is awesome. My pair of regular Terrex hiking shoes are 8.5s so i ordered the boots in 8.5s, thinking they would fit the same but the boot seems to run a tad larger. I'd recommend sizing down .5

I am disappointed, but I already wore them on a walk to I can not return them.The are very narrow and tight and don't flex easily.The removable minimal cushion thin insole rests on a top what feels like hard plastic.I can't see how these could ever be comfortable or good for you feet.

The shoelaces are too short.I am not a hiker. I just wanted good shoes to wear while walking shelter dogs. So if the laces were just a little bit too short, I would have wondered if there was some technical hiking reason for this.But these laces are comically too short. Maybe the factory was out of the correct laces and someone decided to use the next size down in a pinch. Or maybe Adidas wanted to streamline their shoelace inventory and figured they didn't need to properly fit size 13 boots with appropriate shoelaces. Either way, someone at Adidas chose to send me laces that they knew were wrong.So now I am in the process of deciding if I keep them or send them back. I know I could just buy new shoelaces, but the situation irritates me enough that I'm still considering.

I wear an 8.5-9 in nearly all shoes, but always in this range for adidas. I have the low cut Terrex AX3 in 8.5 and fits perfect. My toes are jammed into the end of these in an 8.5 and can't wear them. Besides size issues the shoe is good quality.

Been wearing Adidas athletic shoes for 30 years. They fit my size 12 foot perfectly.So when looking for waterproof hiking boots (after trying countless brands) I looked on the Adidas website and lo and behold they make them. Just got them so further review will have to come later. They are more a light hiking boot than mountaineering boot but seem sturdy enough for my proposes.

Shoes are pretty narrow. Even sized up a half size to account for the goretex and they're just very tight, in design. Adidas should make a wide, might sell even more shoes.Also, I purchased NEW shoes....Amazon/Backcountry....what I received were used and covered in animal hair. Had to clean them out before I could try them on. Now they'll be returned.

Great shoes right out of the box. These are my second pair of Terrex shoes and I couldn’t be happier. They do run a bit narrow but for my feet that’s perfect.

Way too small. Also, they're stiff like skate boots. Returned.
