ADROITLARK Internal 960GB SSD 2.5 inch SATA III Solid State Drive for Laptops/PCs (960GB SSD Drive)

I was a bit nervous about ordering from a new company I'd never heard of, but this drive is amazing value and very fast for a SATA-III (6Gbps) drive. I got the 960GB version. My tests in CrystalDiskMark show it to be slightly faster than the company's own benchmark. It beats other noname brands such as Yukun and matches the Sandisk Ultra II. The drive comes in a very pretty, hard wearing, foam-padded box (would be lovely as a birthday present etc) but does not include a 7mm->9mm shim nor any cables nor software. Installation is perfectly ordinary for a 2.5" 7mm drive and will fit any laptop or PC which takes a standard 2.5" SATA II or SATA III drive. The 4k random write speeds are particularly impressive and this would make an excellent boot drive for SATA III. At ~£75 at the time of ordering (May 2019) this is astounding value and the company really needs to be congratulated. Time will tell for reliability, but you can safely assume that if I haven't posted a follow-up comment, the drive continues to work fine.

My experience with this ssd for my Grandsons PC I have built. Looks the part from the off. Looks more expensive than it is. Now to install. As a brand new ssd maybe I should of tried it on a working system to format etc and run a test. I ran into a few error messages on the system I was installing this ssd onto. This was probably down to the older motherboard I was installing it to but I gave me a few headaches to finally install Windows 10 onto it. Now all the drivers are installed the system is booting up very fast and no more errors. My Grandson is very happy with the speed it loads so it’s a win win in my book. Would I buy another one of these. In a word YES. For the price it’s a no brainier. Just to add. This is a true review based on my experience and I have no allegiance to this company.

Other than a memory increase, probably the best (cheapest) upgrade you could give a budget or dated laptop would be replacing the hard disc drive with an SSD drive. One I replaced use to take nearly three minutes to load the operating system and be on-line, when replaced this took less than 30 seconds so “hanging around” time is reduced dramatically. Unlike a Desktop PC that you can add extra storage easily, that is not the case with laptops and the existing drive would need to be replaced. This SSD drive by Adroitlark is a 120GB 2.5” Sata 3. If you use your laptop for internet use and maybe Word, Excel and storing music and pictures you may find this 120GB is large enough. If unsure just look at how much you have used so far then allow some headroom, after all why pay more if you don’t need to. Over the years SSDs have reduced tremendously, but still this is a great price for a 120GB SSD drive and it comes with a 5-year warranty.

Brought to breath new life into an old laptop. I installed windows 10 and the boot up time is impressive when compared to the traditional 2.5” hard drive. At least a 50% improvement. Applications also load much quicker and just feel more responsive in use.

I bought this 240gb ssd to run windows XP as I have an old laptop needing a bit of updating. This drive done the trick loads fast and shuts down quick with nearly instantaneous loading of word or excel. I had tried another make of ssd but bios did not detect it all the time but this little beauty loads first time so would recommend if using an older operating system like me.

Bought three of these they are amazing value for money and faster than I expectedI used the for installing a couple of Linux distros and one as file back up inside USB 3 hdd enclosuresWould buy this brand again

Bought this SSD to use on my desktop pc as a dedicated drive for my operating system. My pc now boots up very quickly and still has enough room for updates. Overall very pleased.

This hard drive exceeded my own expectations on speed. It is fast. I paid only £19.00 for it but its as fast a drive you would normally pay in excess of £40.00 for usually. Well Done to the sellers on this one, Great Product.

Cuidado con los que quieran renovar el pc antiguo por que para windows xp vale el discode 48 GB. A partir de windows 7 en adelante nada de comprar el de 48 GB, pues no vale para el W7 pues con las actualizaciones y sin ningun programa instalado nos quedamos sin espacio. por lo tanto se quedaria en rojo el disco cuando entremos en mi PC.... PETADO.Vamos que cuidadin con lo que compramos.Por lo tanto para wxp si vale pero para los demas sistemas operativos mas nuevos tendriamos que comprar un disco con mas capacidad. por lo demas todo correcto

Scquistato pensando che la capacità fosse di 480 Gb, come indicato nei Dettagli prodotto, risulta essere un SSD da 48 Gb. Per me risulta del tutto inutile e l'ho, pertanto, reso.

Quería rescatar un viejo PC de sobremesa para instalar Windows 10 … amplié la RAM y le puse este SSD y … MAGIA!!! por poco menos de 25 euros (entre las 2 cosas) tengo un NUEVO PC!!! con un SO actual (eso sí, optimizado para pc de bajos recursos). Hasta ahora genial! Calidad/precio inmejorable. Atención!!! sólo uso navegador i suite básica de tratamiento de textos y hoja de cálculo, si le vais a meter programas complejos NO SIRVE!!!

Unità SSD interna SATA III da 48GB, il prodotto in sé non sarebbe male, se non fosse che la capacità è di soli 48 GB, davvero troppo pochi, se non per essere usato come unita esterna per fare il backup di dati (pochi) oppure per il trasferimento di file. Quindi se per voi, 48 GB sono sufficienti, potreste farci un pensiero, altrimenti cercate qualcosa di più capiente

Este disco ssd maneja buenas tasas de velocidad y buena calidad, desconozco su durabilidad a largo plazo pero para rejuvenecer algún equipo viejo a bajo coste esta bien, quizás algo bajo de capacidad pero como ya digo para meter un windows 7 a un equipo viejo y algunos programas para trabajar sobrado...

Lo compré para un portátil y la verdad no note diferencia con el HD antiguo también decir que tengo solo 1g de ram y un procesador lento sistema xp, puede que haga como un cuello de botella al tener el equipo muy antiguo nolose pero por el precio quise probar.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto poiché nell descrizione vi era scritto che era 480 GB. Invece era da 48 GB. Sono rimasto molto deluso. Specificatelo quando non è giusto!!

Anche io come gli altri ho ricevuto un ssd da 48 gb invece che da 480, come scritto in descrizione.

Pour un vieux laptop IBM. Ça fonctionne très bien, il était rendu inutilisable avec le vieux disque dur. Maintenant c’est beaucoup plus rapide.

In bio era scritto 48 gb. Nella scheda tecnica 480 gb! Diciamo che ho rischiato sperando di fare l'affarone.Guardate prestazioni sul pc, medio basse, ottime per chi non ha pretese eccessive :)
