Lots of tasty looking recipes, could use the help of a good friend to proof read
I am excited to try the diet and the recipes look very tasty. The writing is poor and you can tell there has been no review of the work by another person. I’m including a few photos to help the author make a few changes. I would be happy to give you a full review when complete, if you don’t want feedback I fully understand. I am not an editor just a reader and this is difficult to read. The first recipe calls for frozen blue berries and the leaves them out of the directions. There are many spots like this throughout the first 19 pages. The beginning of the book prior to the cookbook section would benefit from a rewrite using an outline to help focus the thoughts.I get you a selling the diet, and I like that you get to the recipes in the first 20 pages. Bravo on that front, however, you could greatly improve the book by keeping the into focused and keeping examples limited. Too often diet books are testimonials rather than nuts and bolts. I like the nuts and bolts after page 19 and cannot wait to try the recipes. Respectfully. Dave

Could have, should have been much better. Disappointing.
Either English is not the first language of the author or the proof readers were either asleep or nonexistent. This book is not put together very professionally. Additionally, minimizing sodium intake is a big part of the DASH diet. In the book, the nutritional information for each recipe lists calories, protein, carbs, and fat. Not a word or even a whisper about the sodium content of the recipes. I am sure something can be salvaged from this book but I expected WAY better.

self published book with many typos and definite recipe issues
This book has SERIOUS typos. The recipes themselves were kind of Dash, but nowhere near any of the health guidelines outlined in The Dash Diet books. As a young mom, I definitely had hoped for something to not just reduce sodium consumption, but take into consideration all the Dash Diet Guidelines. I’ll be sticking with the Everyday Dash Diet Cookbook and anything written by Marla Heller.

FAKE book! You can’t trust the info.
This book received high ratings and I don’t understand why. It is extremely unprofessional, with hand editing and errors in grammar, punctuation and capitalization throughout. I can’t trust any of the recipes because there’s a recipe for chocolate mousse with 1 3/4 cups of heavy whipping cream ( how is that low fat? ) and the calorie count is 40 calories with 3 grams of fat for half of the recipe!! There is absolutely no information about or credentials on the author, Dr. Jennifer Steven, and I doubt this person is legit. Don’t waste your money!!! Don’t be fooled by the high rating. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

Needs grammar and spell checker
Evidently, the author has English as a second language. The grammar was really bad and some of the sentences didn't make any sense. Stopped reading after a couple of pages. The recipes had really unusual ingredients. A lot of ingredients not available or very expensive where I live.

This bonkers cookbook have me high blood pressure.
1 star is generous. There are a while bunch of processed ingredients. Recipes call for adding something not in the ingredient list (so no quantity). Another lists only "Brussels sprouts" as an ingredient but the last instruction is the add BLANCHED Brussels sprouts. The meal plan in the appendix references the wrong page numbers. All the errors remind me of a community cookbook with no editor.

Lots of recipes which are helpful.
It explains the DASH diet very well and has lots of recipes. But the majority of the recipes contain salt, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of lowering salt intake when battling high blood pressure. I probably won't use this very much.

Save your money
Spelling errors on pages. Nutrition information on recipes very incorrect. One recipe, chicken santa fe, mentions 2 servings, but the recipe has 6 chicken breasts!! Another recipe, chocolate mousse has 1 3/4 cups of heavy cream, mentions 2 servings, but only 3 grams of fat.Don't bother with is book, awful!

Disappointing
This came up as being the UK version of the DASH Diet but it in fact its a USA version which means a lot of ingredients are not readily if at all available in UK. Gives basic outline of diet but still very disappointed in this order.

Easy to ready
Arrived prompt. It's true what other people are saying some of the ingredients are USA based.

Not as expected
This would be great if you had a larder full of all the items needed or a food shop

Not impressed
I’m from UK looks like it aimed at The US rather odd meals, also no photos of meals to give an idea or tempt you. But it was only the price of a magazine so ...
