What the repair books don't tell you is that on the EcoTec 2.2s, cover gasket replacement requires you to remove a motor mount. The mount fits through the little hole on the bottom of the gasket (it's actually the top of the gasket, but the gasket in the pic is upside down). I ended up clipping this part of the gasket off (since there was no sealing properties, I figured it didn't need to seal) and never needed to remove the one motor mount.So far so good. Seems to be as good as the original and hasn't leaked in a few months. I had to replace the original gasket because when I removed the engine cover, I didn't know the gasket was reusable and ended up destroying the original upon cover removal.

check your engine first, be sure you get the right product. good product, excellent price, and delivery. it was worth waiting 2 days for this part, instead of paying double from the local auto parts store. good product packaging too.

Gasket material seems to be high quality and has a generous bead. I have bought other Felpro gaskets and always seek them out when I need new gaskets. This product has a metal frame to support the gasket material that is rigid and makes for easy installation.

Great seal but shipped and bent to fit into box! Just cause box will flex doesn’t mean bend it to deliver it! Luckily it’s only aluminum and can be reshaped to work.

Purchased for my 2003 Saab 9-3. Quality product. I didn't realize that the kit included the front crankshaft seal, which was great!
