Spice Girls - Girl Power (Live in Istanbul) [VHS]

Because of years of dismal American pop music I didn't think I'd ever get into pop music again until I've seen kpop concerts of girls generation (snsd) and apink. Hearing American pop music used to leave you in a good feeling mood, anything from Motown for instance. Please bring back quality songs like that. The only exception today is perhaps Bruno Mars. Anyway because of terrible American pop I've looked towards foreign groups and i never listened to the spice girls when they were popular and that's the reason I got this concert. I must say that although this concert is good, to me it doesn't come close to the performances of snsd and apink. These groups have superior singing, dancing along with catchy songs. If you never heard kpop I urge you to get or see girls generation 3rd concert from Japan or apink's 2nd and 3rd concert. If you don't like kpop i can only believe it's because of the kpop you've heard so far. I truly believe snsd is one of the greatest girls groups ever assembled. The language barrier will be a non issue and will leave you with that good feeling.

I was a die hard Spice Girls fan, and when this concert aired on Pay-per-view, I taped it and seriously watched it everyday! Now, over the years, things get lost, misplaced, etc so I haven't seen that tape in a long time. Needless to say I was elated to find this on Amazon and couldn't wait to watch it! However, when it started, I was immediately disappointed because this is not the full concert! Off top, I can say the following performances are missing from this tape.Something Kinda FunnySaturday Night DivasStopToo MuchIt's not a bad concert at all, and I would still recommend it for any Spice fan. But geeeeez it drove me crazy to see those performances missing!

I had no idea how good the girls were... Each of them a total Gem! Cute, sexy and talented! I thought I had a favorite but after seeing them that went out the window, I fell in love with each one! A Total Surprise! Wow!

Brand new, never opened. Loved this concert as a kid on TV and VHS. Watched the VHS over and over. So happy to find this on DVD. Crystal clear playblack on my US DVD player.

This was such a great show! Bought this to reminisce since I will be going to the reunion tour in England!

Great dvd to buy. it will take you back to a groove.

Dopo circa vent'anni, sono riuscito ad avere questa videocassetta che ha completato la mia collezione. Infatti, tale vhs è stata la seconda pubblicazione video ufficiale dopo "Spice Girls: One hour of Girl Power"!.Questa videocassetta è un documentario che riassume la storia delle cinque ragazze e si concentra, soprattutto, sulla preparazione al loro primo live (appunto, ad Instabul). Successivamente a questo documentario (ricco di spezzoni, inedite registrazioni in sala prova e durante le registrazioni accompagnate da un'intervista alle singole componenti del gruppo), viene proposto il video (ma non con tutte le canzoni in scaletta) della prima tappa del loro primo tour (un po' breve, questo è da dire).Un pezzo da avere assolutamente nella propria videoteca per i collezionisti, i fan e i nostalgici degli anni '90!

Una pieza indispensable para cualquier fan de las Spice Girls. La nostalgia inmortalizada en dvd. Y a muy buen precio.

El dvd que cualquier fan deberia tener, le pongo las 3 estrellas por la calidad de imagen que aunque mejor a la del vhs no es perfecta y porque no añadieron las canciones del concierto mutiladas en el vhs si no fuese por estos dos detalles le daria las 5 estrellas
