CAUTION the Fish Gripper was maded in CHINA, much less quality than "The Fish Grip"
Caution of purchasing from Amazon, as the Orange one was the real "The Fish Grip", but the glow-in-the-dark was made in China with no name on it and much less quality than The Fish Grip? It's strange that Amazon allows this type of false advertising and clearly patent infringement.

Glow-in-dark color is Chinese knockoff NOT united plastics fish grip
The glow in the dark color is NOT a united plastics fish grip. It is a cheap Chinese knock off. I recently ordered both the orange color and glow in the dark but the glow color was clearly labeled "made in china" and did not include any packaging. I returned it thinking there was a mistake and recieved the same exact thing in exchange. The orange color is united plastics brand and comes in the correct packaging and has the logo on the grips.

Large size Fish Grip not for smaller lake fish
Not having any tool to use for gripping/holding fish, these were a must-have. These arrived much faster than expected and to our surprise the overall quality and ease of grip-lock was impressive. These were never used, as we could immediately see that this size Grip is to big to use on small lake fish. Returned for the Jr version. We look forward to trying these out! I chose the multi color for ease of identifying if dropped. These should float, but did not test.4 stars only due to the Lg size and not appropriate for small-mouth lake fish. Will need the Jr size for the smaller fish.

Work fine but not United Plastics
Just received the orange fish grip and was disappointed that it was not as described. As some of the other reviews stated the grip I received was NOT the grip in the photo. It does appear to be cheaply made and does not appear to actually be made by United Plastic. I will keep them to see how they work but do not expect to receive what you see in the photo.Update July 2018: I have used the fish grip a few times now and increased my rating on these as they do seem to work well. Still knocked off one star for misrepresenting the product that they were selling.

Good design and construction
They sell on here, for less than half of what they cost locally here first of all.The design and construction is simple enough. I doubt it will break if treated with some care.I like the bright or glowing color offered for (when) I inevitably drop it from the kayak. This will make retrieving fish much easier/safer for me and the fish.

Great grips!
This is one of my favorite purchases for kayak fishing, I get that sounds ridiculous, but I'm an advocate for taking fish out of the water for as little time as possible and this helps hit the mark. Once they're landed, I can quickly clamp this on their lip, take my hook out, and put them right back in the water until I have the camera or stringer, or whatever else I need ready. Then I can just pull them back up with no issue. The material and built quality is excellent. I thought with it being made of plastic it would be on the cheaper side, but it seems made to last. the lanyard is great for what it is, however I fish from a kayak and therefore everything is leashed so I removed it for a longer tether line, which is also why I'm able to just put the fish back in the water while this is still clipped to their lip.

Simplemente me encanta
