Fun project style toy
Our son (3.5) was so excited when he received this! It arrived in a cardboard wraparound packaging so easy to get opened and creating quickly! I was very pleased to see that the case has sturdy clips and it shuts all the parts inside very securely as we have an extremely curious 9 month old in the house too and these parts would be a huge hazard if they weren’t easy to store. Also, the carry case style of the pegboard means this isn’t a messy toy and is an easy choice to take outside of the house too. Getting it ready to use was a faff to be honest as every flat piece is attached to a plastic frame in at least 2 places so lots of twisting and pulling to get it all detached and then we were left with a fair bit of throwaway plastic which is less than ideal and seems quite unnecessary. However once all the bits were detached and batteries were in the drill we were off and he really enjoyed finding all the pieces we needed and figuring out how to put it all together. At his age this is an activity we have to do together as he just doesn’t have the fine motor skills required yet but in time no doubt he’ll be able to do some projects by himself. He hasn’t been particularly interested in creating flat images with the small stoppers but he has really enjoyed making structures that stand up on their own. Each project takes a while so it’s also great that we can stop at any point we like and come back to it without any mess or re-building needed. The flat parts don’t quite line up as closely together as they are shown in the examples, not that our son is bothered by that but it irks us every time! For this reason and the overload of non recyclable materials I’ve given it four stars. Maybe if it were around the £12-£14 mark we’d have accepted these signs of cheaper manufacturing.

Nice idea, entertaining, not well thought storage though
The first impression was quite good.the item is well packed and have sufficient instructions. I liked that it had a book with ideas for pictures, the pieces are brightly coloured and my son was very into it straight away. However few things that I didn't like it thought needed improvement:1- it is "very plastic". The material looks a little different from the picture on the box.2-The book with ideas is a great touch but has quite a small print. It is sometimes difficult for an adult to understand what is structure, not speaking of a child!3-My son is almost 4 and I should say most of the set is difficult to built for him alone. Especially standing pieces, you would need 4 hands there. The easier options available though, like just putting pins on board.5- And finally, the biggest issue for me -storage. The set has dozens small pieces which would just be thrown in quite a big plastic case with no sections. Ideally it should have an insert with segments which you can take out of the case(since you have to build your piece on the case itself). Otherwise by week 2 in you are probably will be missing half of them.

Amazing toy
Our 2.5 year old loves it! He mostly plays with the drill on its own but can also screw the screws in with no help at all. A must for a child who's into building, fixing etc!

Great toy
My daughter really enjoys this toy. She is almost five and she loves the idea of using a screwdriver to build things 'just like daddy'. When she first opened the box it really caught her eye and she wanted to go straight to making a 3D image which she could do with some help although she could make the 2D images independently. We were looking for a toy like this to help foster an interest in stem in our daughter. We found this set to work well for us. The pieces in this set are a good size for little hands and fit together easily. The pieces are also nicely coloured which she likes. The set comes with a carry case that also acts as a stand to build on which is useful for packing away easily.

Good fun toy
This toy was much enjoyed by my toddler, he likes following me and ‘helping’ me with diy, so this was good. The case is a bit flimsy and could do with sections for all the pieces as I have a feeling that they might get lost! But its a good fun toy for little ones to play with and is very good for their fine motor skills. He keeps coming back to play with it, which is a good sign! The bright colours are fun and I think as he gets older he will enjoy constructing things a bit more, currently the fun is screwing and unscrewing the bolts into the holes on the case!

Fantastic experience with this toy.
My little boy and I love this kit. He has previously struggled with his coordination but after a few weeks of playing with this toy his grasp and ability to put peices in a precise location has cone on leaps and bounds.I love the colours of the pieces and how it all fits inside the case. So many toys come without a box these days and its great to be able to pack this away and take it with him. I will probably buy one for my nephew once he is a bit older too.
