Monster Binder - 9 Pocket Trading Card Album - Matte Black w White Pages - Holds 360 Yugioh, Magic, and Pokemon Cards

I never write product reviews, however, these Monster brand binders are an absolute disgrace of a product and the fact that they even exist and are being sold has me beside myself. This is the worst product you can ever purchase in terms of a binder or portfolio for card storage. I purchased this matte black/white pages model back in December of 2020 and immediately returned it, and I am writing this review all of these months later because I just purchased a 4-pocket version from a different website (one where a review would reach a lot less perspective buyers) when attempting to give the brand a second chance and it was also horrible.There is a lot of talk amongst reviews talking about how now these binders are manufactured in China and they have a white logo and overall look/feel different to those who have used the older ones. This is in fact true, if you buy one now in 2021 you will receive this new version and they are just awful. Warped pages, it bulges when you put cards into it, it bends the cards due to the pages being warped inward towards the spine, all of that. The absolute worst part is the backing of the pages. The entire binder is made of what looks, feels, and smells like a recycled pool inner tube. The backing of these pages have this odd weight to them where they will leave impressions on the backs of your cards if you insert them into the binder without a sleeve. All of this, along with this weird material that is so cheap, flimsy, tears easily and is just plain ridiculous. It literally feels like a recycled pool product used to teach children how to swim in the shallow end of a pool.There are so many negatives. The only positive this product has is its nostalgia - lots of Yu-Gi-Oh players used them back when they were better quality (still pretty bad, but not this egregious thing today) and you get that nostalgic feeling when handling it. On paper though, this is the worst binder that exists. It will damage your cards, and it won't do anything to protect them. The only decent product this company makes is its playmat tubes - everything else (sleeves, deck boxes, and these binders) is absolute garbage. I am not even saying this all to be a bitter person, I just truly feel the need to warn other card game players about this. This is truly, and I mean TRULY, the worst card gaming binder/portfolio out there. I'd rather carry my cards around in a sandwhich bag.Company should just stop making them. I am sure the only money that make is from people going "ah well, it's just $15 or $20" and being too complacent to return it. Please improve on this product or just stop selling it, because this product being so bad just comes across as intentional. There is no way all of these flaws can be missed - there is just no way.

Very average binder. I own a couple of the holofoil binders from Monster and this feels like a real step down in quality. The card slots feel loose. The cover is much softer, and the pages floppy. I can see how the matte cover ones could potentially allow the cards in it to get bent if not handled carefully. For the price if you can fimd the holofoil ones, they are a much better choice.

I had a lot of doubt about this binder but I risked it and decided to buy one. After I received it, i was surprised on how well and simple it feels Sure it’s a little flimsy but nothing to really change my opinion over it. The pages seems very well fit for my yugioh cards. And honestly they look great in the binder. I definitely recommend to give it a chance. If it helps at all I recently purchased a second binder since I liked my first order from them.

The binder looks nice but is not the old monster binder's quality, the cover is bit too soft and bends easy other than that the white pages really makes the cards stand out more,looks nice.

While I've used monster binders in the past, this one was not well bound. The interior pockets on all pages appear to be bending cards when closed. This is especially problematic on the first couple and last couple of pages. It appears the manufacturer of this particular binder did not allow for ample spacing between the page bindings. Unfortunately this was not noticeably until I had already opened and started using the binder, so I was unable to return it.

I used one of their small four pocket binders for my Pokemon cards but I ordered a nine pocket for my Yu-Gi-Oh collection, the binder is just way too flimsy for the cards I put in my binder, I know it holds them snuggly but someone could seriously pick up the binder and bend it in half. There was also little ink spots inside of the pockets on the first page that seemed permanent. On top of all that I ordered one with White Pages and got one with black pages. I like their little binders but these ones won't cut it for what I'm putting inside

Would not buy again product is defected middle section in broke on all the pages cars just slide around pages same price if I would of bought at comic book store for it to be defected only reason I bought on line was stores were closed will not buy again would do return if I felt like the return process plus took over a week to ship and I have prime sad sad ! Next time I’ll stick to eBay if I need to buy online !

I used to put my Yugioh cards in baseball binders, and then add new sleeves. With this its easier to store them, although I wish we had more sleeves per album. But overall, they are a great value.
