If you are considering purchasing the crusader cook kit, and need a truly duel fuel stove that supports wood, then make sure you purchase a kit that has this stove in it.This stove, unlike the mk1, does support wood as a fuel - it's much deeper than the mk1, which means there is space for the fire to burn and not be smothered when the cup is placed on top.It's bigger than what the mk1, but for real world use, this is the one you need - Especially if, like me, you do a lot in the woods... Saves purchasing fuel all the time too.

The one I recieved was a Graphite Grey colour not black as ordered, but it came quickly and I don't mind the colour it looks quality solid and quite lightweight and will hopefully be of good use in future outdoor activities.

You can use solid fuel tablets, gel, twigs, or a alcohol burner with this stove.

Got this to replace the original cooker unit for the Mk1 Crusader Cooking Set because the higher sides will give better shelter from the wind. I found that it didn't fit snugly onto the bottom of the Crusader Cup but if you put it on top of the mug that comes with the 90 pattern water bottle it fits really well and all packs neatly into the Mk 1 cooking set pouch. Highly recommended :D

Rapid delivery. A handy piece of lightweight camp/cook kit. When used with my Trangia burner it took 13 mins to boil 0.5 litre of water in cold weather. Light enough to carry & use as a backup to my regular cooker. Seems sturdy enough to take the knocks & hard wear of lightweight camping. Would recommend.

The burner is slightly high than the mk1 but seeing as I don't need to put it in a pouch it's no big deal. I'll simply make a bigger stuff sac.I'll enjoy testing this between Christmas and new year. good timing on delivery. Thank You
