Best Hiking Boots I've owned
I suffer from Planter Fasciitis and other foot aches and pains, at Christmas I spent over £100 on a well named pair of boots that had rave reviews but for my annoyingly sensitive feet I couldn't walk 1/4 of a mile without my feet killing me and going on a hike in them had me in tears. These Keen boots are such an amazing turn around. From new I did a 6 mile hike and it was like wearing my comfy trainers. Not one ache or pain and I was going up hill, down hill, climbing boulders and all sorts. They are absolutely brilliant and as long as the quality stays the same these will be the only boots I buy from here on out. Definitely worth the investment.

Fits great
I have only worn these new boots a couple of times but they are extremely comfortable. Slightly more room than the same size in Targhee iii. but that was great for me as I like to wear a couple of pairs of socks when walking. Colour is as shown on screen and they are easier to get on and off than the Targhee iii.

I think I've got it cracked now. If you ...
I think I've got it cracked now. If you buy leather Keens, buy a size larger. My leather Keens are exactly that. However, if you buy the softer, trainer type material Keens buy your normal size. Don't know why this is , but I have leather in 6.5 and Keen trainers in 6. They both fit.....Tried to re order but failed as the boot I wanted wasn't available via Amazon, even though the stockist has it.

Super Boots :-)
Keen boots and shoes are designed to fit the shape of feet, and not crushing toes together etc. These boots are top quality, but as with most boots, they feel a lot more comfortable after breaking them in on two or three short walks. The laces are excellent with a non slip weave. There is a small reflective strip in the woven tape, and the two hooks at the top of the fastenings make the laces lock in. Good toe buffer. The tread makes one feel as though it has some substance and would be grippy, and the shape of the instep helps speed one along. All in all lots of attention to details giving excellent comfort and practicality. I am SO glad that I have discovered KEEN, as they will definitely be the firm I choose in future for boots and shoes. Congratulations KEEN!

another fab pair of Keens
This is my third pair of Keen walking boots and these beauties do not disappoint. Light, comfy, hardwearing what more do you need? My last two pairs of Keen boots have lasted three years each, which considering I virtually live in them is impressive. I have no reason to think that this pair will be any different. I wore these all day the day after I received them and they felt so comfortable its as if they were made to measure, no rubs or blisters!

Fabulously comfortable and waterproof
Absolutely the most comfortable walking shoes or boots I have ever had and that's saying something. Worn straight out of box for a 14.8 mile hike through mud ,water over rocks, up and down steep hills. Traction very good no slipping at all and the ankle support was fantastic and never tight or uncomfortable. Laces stayed exactly as I had fixed them at the start. I was in mud up to my knees and so got mud over the tops but that was my fault for not wearing gaitors so I got muddy ankles. I generally finish a long walk and can't with to get my boots off but not this time I would have left them on but for the fact that they were very muddy and my husband wasn't going to allow me in the car! Top quality mega comfy I will be sticking with these from now on I have found my forever boot.. love em!

No good for wide feet....
I am a passionate backpacker/hiker, taking weeks for a walk ( Camino de Santiago in Spain) therefore I need very comfortable and sturdy boots. After reading the reviews, I decided to buy these boots. They are good looking, I order 5.5, half size bigger what usually I used, I try them with my hiking sock, they still room in the front, and feel good. However, after wearing them at home, going up and down in the steps for about half an hour, I start to feel an awful pain on the outside of both feet =(. I never feel so much pain in my life in a so short time trying boots.I believe the design is wide in the front and go down slimmer along the boots and with the repetitive tension through the peroneal tendons of the foot, cause me pain on the outside of both feet. This boot is nice if you have slim feet and not wide feet. Buying the half size extra is convenient, especially wearing thick socks, and walking a long distance for days or weeks.

Amazing comfort
I have a difficult foot to find shoes or boots that work for me: wide, bunions, and recovering from plantar fasciitis. The other reviews are right: these boots are comfortable, the toe box is roomy, they are wide enough for me, the sides where they go past the ankles are comfortable (a problem I have with many boots this height.) Good traction on the soles which are sturdy enough to not feel rocks and tree roots underfoot. The insoles are removable to use special ones (although the ones they came with are quite good!) I bought a half-size up to accommodate socks and the fit is perfect. Love them!

Comodidad
Me encantaron, al principio los sientes amplios pero pronto te acostumbras y mis pies se sienten mejor al ser las botas más anchas

Thick, comfortable soles and wide toe box.
These shoes are fantastic and comfortable. You can slip them on and not have to break them in at all before a hike. I love a good Keen and I'm happy to have found this shoe on sale.My two qualms with the shoes are as follows:1. The top clasps for the laces are made out of plastic, not metal. This just seems cheap and I'm sure they will be the first thing to go on the shoe. Columbia shoes use metal clasps but aren't nearly as comfortable on the sole as Keens, imo. But although the clasps are plastic, they initially hold the laces in place very well.2. The inner sole is made of some sort of poly-plastic and it's noticeable, as your sock does slip a bit on it. I wish it had a better texture and was less slippery/smooth --something for Keen to think about for their next design. I might spray it with a fixative to give it some texture.Anyhow, minus to the two points of possible improvement, I still highly recommend this shoe to anyone with shorter toes and a wider food box. I have osteoarthritis, morton's neuroma, and nerve damage in my toes. These shoes are so comfortable that walking doesn't bother my feet while wearing them. I can't recommend them enough. Would definitely buy them again.

Lieblingsschuhe beim wandern
Passen perfekt, sind wasserdichtvund endlich Schuhe, die auch nach langer Strecke nirgendwo drücken. Praktisch ist der oberste Haken, an dem das Band befestigt werden kann. Damit muss ich nicht die Schuhe zubinden
