Blues Jr. / Pro Jr. JJ Tube Upgrade Kit (2x EL84, 3x 12AX7)

That sound is back, you know what I'm talking about. That sound that just pulls the notes right out of your soul. Great set of tubes. Checked them on my tube tester before installation and biasing and they tested as expected.

I have a Fender Blues JR. Started cutting in and out with loud crunchy pops like someone was unplugging my guitar while hot. It would heat up and play OK for a few minutes, then fade or cut out completely or make the loud crunchy pops again. I've owned the amp for 10 years or so so I looked for the highest rated tubes on Amazon and they fixed the issue. I would swear it sounds better than when it was new but no way of really knowing. I did not replace just one or two, I replaced them as a matched set and threw away the old. Simple install, but do it safely and carefully. There are videos that explain it well.

Service was fast and excellent. I was able to change out the old tubes with the new in a few minutes and they worked perfectly.

I bought a stage right/monoprice 15W tube amp. It's a good budget tube amp, but it had this annoying issue with rattling when I picked a sustained note with some OD. It literally sounded like a PO'd rattlesnake. I thought it might be a mechanical issue (tube clips, reverb tank), but that was not it. It ended up being the cheap, unbranded Chinese tubes used.These tube fixed that and the sound is clearer and more pronounced.Best investment I made for upgrading this budget amp.

Refurbished my 95 blues junior with these bad boys. They sound better than a new amp. Highly recommended.

Went to plus my tele in and play ,,sounded like $#%^&%^%$***&^^%!!!! ,pulled the back cover FOUND IT !! the tip of one of the EL 84 power tubes was broken ,,,,^^%$&##$@ ,found this set at a great price ,, ordered them 12-15- 16 ,,,,had a box in my mail today 12-19-16, pulled the old ones ,put in the new ones ,kept the old for back up ,,except the busted one ,,, trashed it ..noe the Jr, sounds like a Sr.Gotta say very good service and turn around time ,,will be ordering a replacement set for my 65 twin next .great prices too .Dave

I purchased a set of these tubes back in 2018. They did not work so I sent my amp to a tech. He said one of the brand new tubes were bad and had to replaced. They did sound good and lasted a long time after he got the amp working. I eventually needed another pair in February 2025 and ordered another pair, Put them in and they did not work. I sent them back this time and having been using my Tonemaster Princeston Reverb. I did get a full refund and the seller did offer to exchange them for another set but what are the chances of getting 2 bad sets of tubes on Amazon so I passed.
