I have been on a mission for the past 5 years or so, with mostly earbuds, but lately I have been trying out over the ear and on the ear headphones up to the $200 range. Even without a burn-in period, the low end is pronounced effortlessly, the mids are clear, open and easily pushed...sound-stage makes you forget you are listening to headphones...Excellent for Rock, Metal, Jazz, Blues, Pop, Adult Contemporary, Classical, ...pretty much anything with a good recording shines like a star. Comfortable velor pads, solid construction, I have found my unicorn...for under $200.

Best Headphones for the Price!
These are the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. The model is a little older so the price definitely reflects it! They're so good that Amazon's taken note and raised the price 😣. $156>$209I used to own the Beats by Dre. These have much better sound with the mid matching the quality of the bass. Even podcasts that are usually compressed and sound lower to save on cost and bandwidth in production/distribution... I STILL have no complaints. Crappy sounding podcasts sound good on a crowded metro train due to the fidelity and on-the-ear noise isolation of the headset.Buy these!

So far the best!
Should have bought it before. I spent a lot of money trying Sonys, Harman Kardon, Martin Logan, Jbl, Monster, etc. But none so far gives me more pleasure than these headphones. The sound is perfect, 3dimensional, the right amount of bass and very tight. The detail is among the best: I am able to listen to subtleties in highs and well defined middle notes. The cans are light, small and comfortable and very attractive. Comes with a cloth bag as well as a nice carrying pouch. In short it denotes quality and care.Highly recommended, specially for $84!

Like Warm, Melted Honey
I've been a brand loyal customer of Sennheiser for many years and have always found their products to reliably deliver great sound quality. In the past, I've gone for their lower priced options, but I wanted an upgrade and these came highly rated. They are worth the hype and the cost. Despite some of the Q&A answers stating that Sennheiser products aren't manufactured "in the Far East", they are as are many of our popular consumer and designer products. They are made in China, but not of a cheap quality. These are pretty solid. The fit of the headphones was a little tight for my above average sized (size 7.5 hats) head, but the metal bars holding the speakers are flexible and can be bent slightly for a better fit. I love the replaceable/detachable cord option as well! As far as sound quality, it's like warm melted honey. I'm noticing features in my favorite, heavily played songs that I've never noticed before. It's made for a much richer listening experience. I love them!

Lovely sound and very comfortable
I am not an "audiophile" but I love my music and these headphones have been delightful to listen with. I have had these for a couple of weeks and I have enjoyed the sound they give and the feel of the ear cushions. I use them with my phone, tablet and computer. They are very comfortable on my head. Slightly snug but I like that. I don't like to wear headphones that feel like they are going to fall off all the time, but then I normally buy cheap headphones. All the buttons on the cord work perfectly with my phone (Motorola Turbo 2) and I was told the microphone sounded great when I used it for a phone conversation. The only disappointment is that the buttons do not work with my Asus Zenpad S 8 tablet. I can pause the music which helps but the volume buttons do not work with it. It's not a problem, just a tiny inconvenience (very tiny). The description did say it works with "most" android devices so it wasn't guaranteed to work anyway.I'm super happy with them otherwise. It made me a little nervous to spend this much on headphones without testing them first but for Christmas I was putting my trust in the brand that my son recommended. I'm glad I did.

These have great sound. I find them comfortable to wear
These have great sound. I find them comfortable to wear. The folding feature is nice, although I wish they curled up a little more. I have become a big fan of these over ear buds because they do not transmit annoying noise every time the cords get brushed by something or when I am wearing them outside on a windy day. I have a large heard and can wear these over a knit cap on cold days.

Almost there..
I was looking for quality on ear headphones in the featherweight class and came across these. Sound quality is great and they are indeed lightweight. I may have a big head but I've worn few headphones with as heavy as a grip as these have on my ears, I don't think I could keep them on for the entire 16 hour flight I bought them for. The audio cable has a proprietary groove in it (pictured below) which forces you to buy replacements through them at $20 each (without audio controls) with shipping, for the price they could have easily allowed you to buy generic replacement cables. In the same class you may consider the cheaper Bose SoundTrue which is lighter, less pressure on the ears, but the sound quality is not as good.Pros: Superb sound quality, lightweightCons: Vice-like snug fit, proprietary replaceable cable

Great headphones but...
These headphones are great.I bought a pair of 'over-ear' original Momentum's a while ago and they touched my ear so caused pain very quickly. I gave them back and bought Beats Solo original 'on-ear' which I've been using for about 3 years and they have worn out and cracked on the plastic head band.I now bought these Momentum 2's 'on-ear' and they are soooo comfortable. The sponge seems thicker so much more comfortable design. They sound a lot more stronger and work much better on a flat frequency EQ on my PC (I had to modify EQ with Beats which seemed a little weak). They do feel very compact and the sponge is replaceable.HOWEVER, there is one thing that will catch you out. If you plan to use a longer cable and on PC/HIFI etc, the plug on the headphone side (which you twist and then pull out), is a 2.5mm jack, not the more usual 3.5mm jack.I am now having to purchase a good quality 2.5mm to 3.5mm longer cable. Not sure if it is faulty in some way but, when using the original cable to plug into my PC, the sound was horrid. It seemed to lose a channel and oddly, if I held down the middle remote button, the full sound range came back and it did sound bloody good.Bear that in mind and also make sure you purchase the correct version for Android or IOS.If used on my Samsung Galaxy phone with original cable, it works fine and the weak phone amp does sound actually quite good.

Huge dissapointment
Awful experience. Always bought Seanheiser in the past but this model of headphone is really dissapointing as the foam cups easily become detached and are a nightmare to fit back on. Cost a lot of money, cups have detached around 8 times, lost the will to keep trying to fix back on. Waste of money.

Powerful headphones in a small package
These headphones have been a great buy, and amazing for the money at £89. Usually I like a lot of bass is my music and usually have to use an equaliser, however with these headphones, there was no need due to the powerful but tight bass. I feel these headphones have a U shaped sound signature, where the bass is heavy and the highs are crisp, with the middle being slightly quieter. However I will say that the on ear design may start to make people's ears ache after long listening sessions, but this isn't too much of a problem for me. Overall I would definitely recommend this product and is amazing for the money, compared to the wireless version which has arguably worse sound quality with the added benefit of a bluetooth codec.

Good Quality - Sound Great
Good build quality and sound great but I would prefer slightly more balanced sound to bring out the Mid and Higher frequencies a bit more, the head phones seem a little more biased to lower frequencies but overall the audio is clear and warm sounding.

Foam ear pad keeps falling off.
The foam pad keeps falling off and is very fiddly to put back on. Should've got a sony pair.
