Worked Great For What I needed
I bought this because I was making a fog chiller for Halloween. Needed this to mount a small fan onto a 4" to 2" PVC reducer inside the chiller to create a positive pressure atmosphere to keep pushing the fog out even after the fog machine stopped. I hot glued this to the PVC reducer and my fan just pops into this, now I can remove the fan in off season. Needless to say this worked perfect and fit my 120mm fan (which is water proof). This was the last piece I needed to complete my fog chiller. I didn't use the filter as all I needed was the plastic piece to mount the fan.

Simple, efficient fan cover...
Added to the side of my Laser Engraver to bring in fresh air over the laser tube. Works great with a 120mm fan behind it.

Product comes with NO HARDWARE
This item does not come with mounting hardware (screws and bolts). I purchased a combination order with fan. Fan does come with hardware. Now I have to go to hardware store so I can mount these vents.

Adequate for their intended use
If you are installing more than 1 together, like over a cooler radiator, the size of the covers may interfere with each other if you have fixed screw hole locations. In single installation applications they work ok.

Keep your server clean
My network cabinet is in the basement where I run various power tools like a table saw, router etc. To keep dust out of my equipment I mounted the cabinet upside down so the fan openings are on the bottom. I installed two 120v fans on the outside of the cabinet blowing in to create positive pressure. I added these filters to the fans so only clean air goes into the case. I sealed the vents at the bottom of cabinet to increase the pressure of the air blowing out of the vents at the top. I also added a solid shelf inside the cabinet at the bottom to keep stuff from falling into the fans.
