It's a bit bigger than I imagined but i like it. Wish my cat used it more - but that's cats, amiright?Pros:-Blends in with regular furniture, so it doesn't look like a tacky cat tree-Large enough for most cats to useCons:- The top platform is the EXACT size of the box underneath it, making it difficult for the cat to get on top, unless they jump from the lower platform. I think that may be why she doesn't use it as much. The first time she tried to get to the top platform from underneath, she fell. I had to pull it away from the wall so that I could make the top platform diagonal so it would be a bit offset and therefore easier to get up there.- The areas that are just wood are a little too slippery for the cat, so we added stick-on felt for more traction.

I chose this cat tree because I loved how it looked. I overlooked the few reviews that mentioned the toxic smell. When I ordered it, I hoped that even if it smelled, I could air it out for a few days outside and it would be okay. How incredibly wrong I was. We initially ordered it in November 2019 but didn't finally take it out of the box and assemble it until February. We aired it out for about 4 days outside and brought it inside on a Saturday. Our cat loved having a cat tree so much, he spent a huge amount of his time there that weekend. We tried to ignore the fact that it still smelled of chemicals and hoped that the smell would go away. That Monday I worked from home in the living room, and within a few hours had a splitting headache from the fumes. One of our cat's eyes became cloudy and started to close up, and we immediately researched furniture off-gassing. We were terrified to read the list of health problems that can be caused by toxic chemical off-gassing and are certain that our cat's eye infection was due to the cat tree. The vet told us that our cat's eye was inflamed and provided eye drops that luckily made his eye better. We immediately put the cat tree in our garage where it sits, THREE MONTHS later, still reeking of chemicals (formaldehyde?). I had hoped that after all this time, the off-gassing would have stopped and we could try to use it. Nope, this cat tree appears to be UNUSABLE even after three months of sitting in our garage. I reached out to the seller to ask if there was anything that could be done -- could we return it for a refund? -- but the seller said that since this item is way beyond their return window, we are out of luck. I am appalled that Amazon, as well as this seller, can sell an item like this and get away with it. This item is a health hazard.

I bought the cat tree because my other one was falling apart, and when a cat scratches and plays on it for so long it just looks gross. This time around I wanted to find something stylish and doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. The cat tree is so chic for my home because the wood matches the majority of the wood in my house. Also, it's not too big or too small for one cat to play on.The only problem I had was that my cat was very hesitant because it wasn't the scratching carpet material like the other one. Fortunately, that phase didn't last long. I starting putting some cat nip near it and also my cat's food bowl. The rest is history, he loves it now. So glad I bought it.

Product is exactly as pictured. The assembly is at ikea level, so about an hour of fun times with cam locks (honestly wood screws will hold it if you’re like me and abhor cam locks). I would let it air out in a garage for a couple of days due to the formaldehyde treatment on the wood. Since I’m too impatient it’s in my room as of right now, and boy howdy I would not light a match. Reminds me of the days in the lab. But despite the stench that will fade in open air and sunlight, great product, my next venture is to buy a smaller sized one like this.

My traditional tree was s. o torn and dirty I couldn't bare to look at it any more. This one is a piece of furniture in my living room and looks beautiful and clean. The cat seems happy with it, although he's still adjusting. Money well spent.

Came with instructions which made it extremely easy to assemble within an hour. The design is what originally sold me since the carpeted towers attract more dirt. The tower is modern, simple and easy to clean. 10/10

This cat tree looks great but it has a strong odor that REEKS of TOXIC CHEMICALS and gave me headaches. It made my entire master bedroom stink until i moved it to my garage to air out. 2 months later and the smell is just as strong. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.
