Good for our needs
---- UPDATE ----I've used it an entire summer (about 10 times) so I'm very familiar with it. Once we had a mild but steady rain all night long. Woke up to puddles everywhere outside but it kept us completely dry, so I can confirm its waterproof. All in all, the experience has been good, nothing has failed and I have no complaints yet. I'm adding one more star to 5 stars.--- Original review ---I've only used this two nights, in my backyard, but so far it seems like a nice tent. I chose this one because it had most of the features I wanted at about half the price of similar brand name tents. It really is very fast and easy to set up. I did it by myself without reading any instructions (there aren't any) in about a minute. Just lay it flat, bed down one leg at a time, extend it then put in the stakes. It took me almost 2 minutes to get the rain fly on because its hard to get it to stay on top with one person. It looks exactly the same as the photos. The wall fabric is is the same quality/thickness as other tents I've owned. The floor is tubbed but a bit thin, though I'll be barefoot inside and using a tarp underneath. I don't see any way to fit 6 real people in here... But for 2 adults, a child and a dog its just the right size. We can fit 2 full size inflatable mattresses and I think 4 adults could use it comfortably. I'm 5'8" and I can't stand in the middle without bending my neck. So I'm guessing the center height is more like 5'6".I can't say if its waterproof in heavy rain, but it survived simulated rain from a hose. The rainfly seams were taped. I do like the extension cord access and the floor vent. The extending poles are sturdy and have metal locking buttons. The included stakes are cheap but I'll be using my own. The bag is adequate but just the same fabric as the tent and you won't be able to fit many extras in there like a tarp. There is the standard wall pocket and ceiling net though it would have been nice to have some more. And finally the included "doormat" is useless, but who cares? All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase. I'm not sure if this will hold up for bad weather or heavy duty usage, but for my family's occasional state park and backyard camp outs it really everything we need. I'll update this again after we use it a few more times.

Great for retards!
Pretty easy to use. My kids were able to set it up and I’m pretty sure that one of them may be retarded so that’s a good sign.

Great tent, lot of fun for kids
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Last month we had a sleep over at our friend house so our kids can play together, and they had a nice tent setup in their living room for them to play and sleep in, and they had a blast. So my wife wanted to do the same and we decided to get this 6 person tent which is almost twice as big their tent was (we didn't anticipate that it was this big, since theirs was a 4 person). We initially wanted to set it up in our livingroom as well but didn't have enough space to stand it up so we moved it to our family room and it took up almost the whole room. It was super easy to setup, i did it by myself and took less than 2 minutes to set it up, it was effortlessly, which is awesome. Inside is huge, we're going to have a king air mattress pumped up and put it inside the tent for them to play and sleep on. It's also pretty small when all packed up, fit inside its carry bag and its not too heavy, maybe 10 to 12 lbs. Can't wait for summer to be able to use this outside and bring it on our road trip.

Squal resistant!
I've never heard of this brand and really wasn't sure about buying this tent. I wanted to buy a Coleman, but figured i couldn't loose if i don't like it. Just return it right??.. Well, no! I'm gonna keep it. This tent survived a crazy 20 min squal (30mph winds and heavy rain) that moved into our campsite, yard selling anything not staked done and twisted anything that was. EXCEPT!! This tent. It was the only thing standing upright. Only one stake came out. Unbelievable, since the stakes are kind of wack. Recommend getting longer and steel stakes that can handle a hammer or axe. Really good water resistance and waterproofish. It continued to rain for a long time, so after awhile you can see the material get soaked. However, I did not get any water intrusion. Completely dry inside. I like the tarp bottom and how it comes up about a foot up on the sides. A footprint would not be necessary, but it wouldn't hurt if on rocky surface. I have the 6ppl tent and it fits me well for a 6'6" dude. Both the other tent and pop-up were Walmarts Ozark Trail brands.

A spacious and easy to assemble tent with lots of features
A very easy to assemble tent, with lots of ventilation and a good size door. The 8 person size is perfect for a couple if you want to have a queen air mattress and plenty of space. The mesh pockets are very useful and the passthrough ac cable door works fine, although is a little difficult to seal and avoid insects. I'm 5’9 and I can stand without issues. It comes with a rain fly and a useful door pad for shoes. Will not fit 8 people thought, 4 at most if you want a minimum space. It comes with a room divider, but you'll not be able to use a double ( or larger) air mattress

Don’t be scared of the name
Love this tent! We had a very similar Coleman 7 person tent. It set up the exact same way but I hated it. I love this tent. Just set it where you want it. Then extend the poles that run along the top then extend the four legs. Boom done. All of 2 mins. It was great in the wind. I love the media net that goes along the roof. We laid in bed watching a movie on the ceiling and loved it. I’m 6’2 barefoot and could stand up inside easily. The only minor change I would make is I don’t particularly like how the door zips. It’s a two zipper system. One along the side and one along the bottom. This tent would be perfect if it had those cool hinged doors that some tents have. It fit back into the bag relatively easy but did take a little effort like all tents. We added some remote controlled led lights for under $20 to Jazz it up.

It broke with the first use.
The bottom plastic peace that attaches the tent fabric to the poles broke on two legs. One I noticed while hammering the stakes through the fabric loop into the ground on setup and another one was broken when going to put the tent away the next day. Definitely will not buy this brand again, the only reason I got it in the first place is because of the ease of setup but it looks like ill be going back to using my old fashioned tent that's almost twenty years old and has never broken.
