Stride Rite SRT Toddler and Little Boys Prescott Casual Sneaker

These shoes are cute, but incredibly narrow and very stiff. We ordered the 11 XW and could barely get my son'd foot in them. He typically wears a Stride Rite XW, but these are much narrower than usual. I am giving them only one str because I wouldn't want anyone else to buy them expecting an XW. It's too bad because they really are cute shoes.

These are absolutely the BEST shoes my son has ever had! I got him a 10W and they fit PERFECT! I'm not sure why people are saying they are too narrow. His foot is wide and his feet slip right into these. He has worn them almost every day for about 4 months now and they still look brand new. He wore a pair of circo shoes 3 times and the soles were coming off so I know he's rough on shoes and these are still perfect!! I don't recall them being overly stiff and after 4 months of use they definitely aren't anymore. I think they have actually conformed to his foot shape after a few wears and they just fit like a glove! I'm very sad they don't have them the next size up because I want another pair for him!

I loved Stride Rite for my son when he was a baby. Up to size 6, their shoes are great. Nice and wide and flexible, with rounded toes. Then, like this pair, even XW widths are too narrow. Comparing these to a pair of Tsukihoshi I bought my son, these are XW and a size bigger, and the Tsukihoshi Wheel sneakers I bought are a medium width in a half size smaller and still wider and longer! I will never buy from Stride Rite again. Oh, and this pair was recommended by their customer service as a solution to my son's wide feet. What a joke. They are stiff and narrow. See photos.

Good all around casual shoe for toddler boy. My son wears these nearly everyday. Looks great with everyday clothes and also with dressy casual pants and button down shirts. They are a little more stiff when it comes to putting them on and taking them off so I usually have to help my son put these shoes on where as some other shoes he can easily take on and off himself. He usually wears these though and it’s not a big deal to help him. He is almost 4.We have another younger son, and I am confident with the quality of these shoes he will be able to wear these shoes also and maybe even a 3rd or 4th child. I don’t regret this purchase.

These are a nice shoe for an active preschooler. My son is always busy, and these shoes keep up with him and are still in good condition after several weeks. They look nice enough for dressing up without being uncomfortable or boring. I haven't loved many Stride Rite shoes for my daughter in the last few years, but it seems these are a win.

These sneakers look very nice and they might be fine for narrow feet. I bought 11.5W for my son and he could hardly push in his feet into the sneakers. The length was OK - there was a bit of extra space in the toes area. Usually wide sizes are fine for him. These sneakers were so narrow, I didn't want to exchange for XW (extra wide), just sent them back.

I've been buying this shoe for my son since Stride Rite started making the shoe. It has never become stinky. My son has never slipped. They always look brand new until his feet grow. I have bought three pairs so far and will continue.

First of all, let me start by saying that I LOVE StrideRite shoes for my little guy! He has a very flat, wide foot so this brand typically accommodates his foot "type" very well. However, this particular style is very STIFF and has little to no give whatsoever. I knew as soon as I took them out of the box that they were not going to work. I had him try them on anyway (and was trying to get him excited about how "cool" they looked) and within a couple minutes of walking around the house he was begging to take them off, saying they were "ouchy". If they were just a little softer and more flexible, they would be great. I would be shocked if any little guy found these shoes comfy. I am returning them today and instead purchasing another pair of the StrideRite running shoes. They are much softer and better for my little guy's feet.
