No Lie, I Acted Like a Beast!: The Story of Beauty and the Beast as Told by the Beast (The Other Side of the Story)

It was interesting. It was good but I liked the wolf story best. Review by my six year old grandson.

Fun but not as good as the Little Red Riding hood or Cinderella versions

I love this retelling of Beauty and the Beast and the Beast is absolutely funny in retelling his side of the tale! Kids and adults alike should enjoy this wonderfully illustrated and humorous narrative of the classic tale! I am always looking for different version of children classic fairy tales; I found plenty of varying versions of Cinderella, a few different adaptions of Snow White and a recently found a great scenario of Rapunzel. Yet, I have rarely found different versions of Beauty and the Beast! I am happy to have finally found another adaption of this tale and absolutely love this retelling of story since it from the guy's (er, Beast's) perspective!

Fun re-write of a classic fairytale. Kids old enough to know the original story will enjoy the beast's viewpoint. Good way to teach that you may not always be getting the true story if you only hear one side of it.

Love the twist on the story. Too flimsy of paper stock and cover. It needs to be rerun on better card stock!

This story is cute and offers a new perspective on the classic "Beauty and the Beast" story. Unfortunately, the story is a little hard for my 4 1/2 year old to follow and doesnt include any of the castle characters from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Also, the names in this differ from Disney which may be why it is harder for younger children to follow.

What an animal! Hysterical! A great way to teach students about perspective and that there's always two sides to every story.

Great book for teaching fractured fairy tales. Students love the pictures and get a laugh out of the different point of view.
