Razor RipStik Caster Board Replacement Wheel Set

These wheels are not by RipStik, which I think is misleading because the description is presented as such. I just got these a few weeks ago for both my sons who own Ripstiks. I have been very disappointed with the poor quality of the rubber portion of the wheels. Both boys have experienced these replacement wheels wearing down very quickly. One wheel even had a big chunk fall off, mid-ride! Upon examining the wheels, we see other areas that are beginning to develop cracks as well. Both boys have owned their RipStiks for years, one for over 6 years, and we just barely have had to replace the original wheels. And now, in just 3 weeks, these replacement wheels are completely breaking down.

I purchased these to replace wheels on a crazy cart. My hope was that in spite of the negative reviews which stated that these wheels have virtually no durability, that they might be okay. I purchased them, anyway, because they are inexpensive. After two uses of the crazy cart (two full charges: approx 1 hour-1hour 20mins) I had to rotate the wheel. After three more uses/charges, the wheel was down to the core. Do NOT buy this to replace a crazy cart wheel. It simply won't last. You need something much harder. I'm sure it works for lighter applications with less wear and tear, but it definitely isn't strong enough to hold up to crazy cart abuse.

I ride my ripstick violently and chew through wheels quickly but that is no excuse for my first ride with these wheels to be cut short by them falling apart. I didn't even make it back to my car! I had to walk! I didnt even know wheels vould be this terable! Its like they are made out of paper! I orderd 4 sets of these and i will have to take them with me and swap them as i ride! Huge disappointment for me if you want to get wheels that will last more then 1 ride find somthing else.

First Impressions: They look very appealing, I got the white and matte grey ones. They appear to be the same quality as the wheels that came with the RipStik.Pros: Great for replacing broken or worn down wheels. They make your RipStik looks brand new! The bearing roll with the same speed as the default ones (actually a little faster because they are cleaner than my old ones). They are also easy to install. All I did was use a Husky folding hex key set (the 3/16 one) to take off the two bolts and slid off the two spacers. Then I got the news wheels and replaced the spacers then tightened it back. Took five minutes and couldn't have been easier!Cons: Just like the wheels that come with the RipStik the bearings are not that great but they get the job done. The wheels eventually run down, using them regularly they will last you about a year.

I received 3 sets of these wheels I ordered today. I cleaned up my Ripstik G and installed them. I went for a ride down my road and about 10 mins later they were almost completely worn down. There were little chunks of the wheel that broke off twards the bottom of a small hill. I had to walk the rest of the way to my friends house which is where im writing this now. very unhappy with the quality. fair to say they were only a few dollers compaired to what Razer Brand wheels would have been. Wish they would have lasted at least to where I am now though haha. I'm Gonna use them up cause maybe it was just the one. then I will check back in for more results but as of now Just 2 stars. 1st pic front wheel 2nd, 3rd and 4th ate the back wheel.

I have purchased these three times. They come with the tools you need and fit perfectly on the 360 drifter. The first set is still intact after 2 years, but I bought an extra pair for when they wear down. The do not seem to be lasting as long as the original ones that came with the drifter, but those lasted 8 years. These were too thick. Could attach the wheel but wouldn't spin. Didn't have clearance. By the time I installed them and realized they wouldn't work, the return time frame had expired. I doubled checked various sites online and supposedly this is the size to get. Had to have a friend grind the wheel down in order for it to spin properly. I think some of the particles from grinding got into swivel. My kid says it's not as smooth and sounds like sand is in there. It'll work but definitely wasn't a quick wheel switch out.

The original razor scooter that I bought for my 6 year old had wheels that lasted 12 years. Now my son is 18, time to replace the wheels. Unfortunately he wore out the new wheels in 2 weeks of avid use. Now this child weighs about 170 pounds now, and weighed a lot less when younger, but only 2 weeks of wear is ridiculous for a new set of wheels. Needless to say the back wheel is toast, and the front wheel is also showing signs of wear in only 2 weeks. Save your money and keep shopping.

I had my doubts about these wheels when I read the reviews about them on Amazon.com. One of the reviewers said that these are too big for the Ripstik DLX, but they certainly are not... In fact, they are a perfect fit! I'm back on a smooth ride and to loving my casterboard!!

Great item - would recommend

Good wheels incredibly fast and nice to ride on.However, they only last a very short amount of time due to the soft material they are made from. After less than 10 visits to the skate park the front wheel is significantly worn and the rear is even worse; totally flat and difficult to ride on.

these are 76 MM and my RAZOR needs 68mm
