I have used this 8 times in the ocean during the last 2 weeks. I towel dry it after every use. It is still working perfectly.

1) Using with a GoPro 9 and solid as a rock, but the locking mechanism to extend is a LITTLE tricky at first. Don’t over-tighten/over-twist to lock it. Just a little tension.2) The ball head mechanism is screwed in (you can remove it), but it doesn’t tighten rock solid and it wanted to loosen a bit. I just used a piece of electrical tape to keep it 100% in place.3) I’m using this in conjunction with an Ulanzi BG-2 power stick, and a set of Zeadio tripod legs (the best out there) which screw into the bottom of the BG-2, and I love the combination. At its shortest extension, this makes for a good selfie set-up, and at its longest extension, like a full height tripod. If I ever want shorter, I can just remove the BG-2.

I liked the idea and the build quality is good but unfortunately the Cons were a dealbreaker for me.Pros:1. Has a thread at the bottom to attach any tripod or attachment2. Has a ballhead at the top so you can pivot it to any angle you like3. I'm not a fan of selfie sticks which extend to the heavens. I just need it to extend it for panning shots while I'm hiking. The length is a decent amount.Cons:1. Weight - Unfortunately, with a Gopro at the tip, and fully extended, it felt too heavy. (that or my husband & I need to get exoskeleton suits to support our dainty hands)2. Mount design - I use an Ulanzi magnet for the GoPro which helps me quick-release it from the selfie stick to my tripod. Unfortunately the quick release means I have to twist it to release. Twisting it easily unscrews it from the mount. Or it releases the twist-lock of the selfie stick itself.3. Ballhead screw - The ballhead screw unfortunately doesn't tighten it enough. It's a quarter of a turn but it doesn't tighten it enough.

I purchased this stick to use with my Osmo action camera, primarily to get video from dog level. The shots aren't exactly like having the camera mounted to a dog harness and getting video from that dogs viewpoint, but does create video which looks like it is from "a dogs" viewpoint, without the excessive movement from the dog walking/running, and the results are really outstanding. It does have many more uses, but since I purchased primarily for this, I will limit this review to this use. It holds the camera very stable, and with the Osmo at least, creates very smooth video, even when moving erratically as a dog would.

I wanted a stick to hold a gopro camera while scuba diving, both to use for selfie video and to place the camera closer to marine life (fish will let you put a stick with a small camera close to them, but will swim away if you reach toward them with your hand). One of the questions/answers indicated that this stick may not be good for marine use, but for the price, I tried it anyway. I used it on a dive, put it in my bag without rinsing it, gave it a superficial rinse in the shower later that afternoon and let it dry. It still works great and looks great. One of the other reviewers complained that he/she had trouble unlocking the extensions. I did find that you must not lock them too tight or they are hard to unlock, but this is not really a problem, it is a function of this type of locking mechanisms on many of these products. Overall a great product at a great price.

I dropped my GoPro camera and the head of my stick broke off. I ordered this replacement stick and I am so happy that it is a great replacement. It does all that they said it would do and the price was reasonable. I am happy I ordered this product. It meets my needs completely.

The media could not be loaded. Does what it says. Feels a little cheap. But not terrible. Wish it turned into a tripod. Probably won't end up using this all that much unless I'm in a pinch.

Was recommended this by a few folks online and was very excited to try it out on my car rig. Super great GoPro mount till the threaded end broke off after 3 weeks of use and broke my just out of one month warranty GoProMax360 and then got run over by traffic. I had it securely mounted with a heavy duty triple suction cup tripod mount and the plastic coupler at the end of this product decided to give out and toss my GoPro onto the open road. I Definitely do not recommend this for anyone who plans to do anything action related with this product unless it will only be used for selfies. Otherwise it did it’s job fine without any issues and got some nice pictures while it lasted, didn’t realize that the product was to blame till I bought another unit and compared the broken one with the new one. Quite disappointing and a very costly circumstance. Hopefully no one else will have to experience this with their camera gear and it’s lack of sturdiness.

Stick und alle anderen Teile in sehr hoher Qualität gefertigt. hab mit dem Stick während dem Skifahren gefilmt, inkl. stürzten was kein Problem für den Stick darstellt. Sehr massiv und edel verarbeitet, würde ich für den Preis jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Cercavo un prodotto valido e mi sono orientato ad un oggetto di marca. Avevo già il modello X1S per la GoPro. Devi dire che sono prodotti di una buonissima qualità. Avevo già scritto al produttore perché sarebbe il massimo se si potesse utilizzare il cordino in dotazione anche con il treppiede avvitato. Ottimi anche gli accessori, specialmente la busta che non sempre è in dotazione. Ricomprerei prodotto di Smartree. Lo snodo è in metallo. Uso un altro porta cellulare che mi permette di usare un cellulare largo 9cm. Quello in dotazione mi sembra arrivi fino a 8cm
