(10 Pack) John West Mackerel Fillet in Oil - 125g

Firstly, Im a fish lover, so bear this in mind. John West used to be the go to for tinned fish, sadly ive now come to learn over the last couple of years this is not the case. For a start, there is zero consistancty, some tins are "OK", some tins the fish is disgusting - my last one literally had the consistency & taste of some rotten wood tweaked out the deck of a fishing boat. It was just grim - and when your doing a 12 Hours shift, its not so funny when this is your lunch! I think some of their products are just riding on the good name of the past......

Great mackerel fillets, I like them as they are with a salad & jacket potato or lovely with chips or new potatoes, endless possibilities ! They arrived quickly & taste very nice would highly recomend
