Outer casing is very thick yet some what bendable. I just wired my whole house, phone, cat6, coaxial, surround sound. Do yourself a solid, spend the little extra and color coordinate the different types of cable. I didn't and I wish I did, you thank yourself later. Most cat6 is blue, most coaxial is black. In my opinion there are other cables already in the wall that might be grey or white. I would spend 3% extra in hind sight and get like orange or purple or something different; easily identifiable. Also you only run cable once make sure its the thickness of gauge you want, personally can't tell much difference. Might as well get what you want cause you won't run behind the walls again.

First impression :The only complain is that the cable is very stiff, but it's strong and sounds great in my home theater. I didn't expect generic 12 ga like this one would sound better but it really does.That was then, I was "awed" by the tight and punchy bass but after I upgraded my gear realized it the treble sounded harsher than it should. In back to back comparisons with other cables it was apparent this wire sounded shut in on the top and hard in the lower treble. The other cables have been:KnewKoncept Kord 12awg very clear and detailed on top, solid bottom end but everything in between sounded too recessed for my set up.Megacable 14awg which had good body but was not very detailedSupra 2.5 very detailed, particularly in the midrange and and it images better than I thought possible.YMMV this was connecting a Exposure 1020s amp to NHT speakers, it seems this amp is more sensitive to loads than others.

Good wire. Gauge seems right and both seemed like copper to me. I didn't measure it so I don't know if I got a 100'I came up short but my run ended up being longer that I thought so not sure about that one.I would buy it again. Good to know the speaker wire in the wall meets electrical codes.

For the runs I have it is more than enough for the job and will give pro like install. The cleaner look will make the wife happy. Bonus!!

It is a little hard to work with since it doesn't bend much, but for the price it was well worth the purchase.

Received a full 100 feet. Wire is flexible in a soft insulated jacket. There are no indications where this was manufactured.

Looks like all copper. I will be installing it this week. I don't foresee any problems. I didn't measure the thickness but it looks to be about what I expected and needed it to be. Should work great. Also came in good time.
