Gigliotti Hard Rubber Bb Clarinet Barrel 62mm

I have two 65mm barrels, one an expensive Buffet Crampon, but they're both a bit too long. Even pushed in all the way, it's hard to keep the clarinet from going flat at A440 (even with a tight embouchure). I grew tired of being frustrated by this and straining to sharpen the pitch. For $35 this Gigliotti hard rubber barrel is a great solution. I keep it in my case alongside the Buffet 65mm and pull it out when I'm playing with instruments at A440 or sharper. I don't understand why most barrels aren't 62 or 63 mm, but I'm glad to finally have one that is, and for a great price!

I bought an old wood clarinet, but the barrel was warped on top so that I couldn't fit in any mouthpiece other than the one it came with. This barrel was just what I needed to use my own mouthpiece and blends nicely with the rest of the clarinet.
