Great value, bright, find good electrical ground!
Crunched one of the incandescent bulbs on my new trailer. Off to Amazon I go where I found these. Pleased to learn that these 8" lights that mount on 2" centers are pretty standardized. LEDs seemed like the way to go. Install was fairly straightforward. I used red heat shrink connectors from Harbor Freight and a very nice Ancor Insulted Crimp Tool that I bought right here which cost more than the lights! Install was pretty straightforward, but I recently repainted my trailer and couldn't make good ground. The lights didn't work. I had to take it all apart, file and wire brush off some paint (and rust) and get down to shiny metal. Then I bolted the ground O-ring terminals outside, right on the steel. Once I verified that everything was working, I repainted the bolts and the surrounding steel. O-rings on the outside don't look as cool, but they allow for better access if ground needs to be established again. I launch my PWC in the ocean, so I can't mess around with corrosion. I replaced the 1/4" carriage bolts and nuts with stainless and added lock washers. The only downside is a common ailment for all plastic lights: the channels that are intended to grasp the heads of the carriage bolts will distort under pressure and allow the bolts to spin. This makes it next to impossible to use nylon lock nuts. Just stick with regular nuts and lock washers.

Very Bright LED lights!
These are very bright LED submersible lights! I replaced my old light on my boat trailer because they kept blowing every time I launched my boat. This was the best decision I've made in upgrading my trailer. They are solid, bright, and fit perfectly where my old lights were. Replacement only took minutes. These are worth the investment. I don't plan on changing bulbs again, ever!

The lights appear to be good quality. They mount like a picture hanger on the back so you have to depend on tightening the bolt down to pull them tight against the bracket or fender; Carriage bolts work best because the heads of the bolts are not accessible once the lights slid down over them. I did notice the outer LED is brighter than the inner LEDs; I presume this provides some perpendicular light since the outside of the light is a red reflector and not a lighted lens. They are light weight and seem to work well. I hope they hold up over time because the assembly is a single unit and individual lights cannot be replaced; this is true of many LED taillights.

Good lights, low cost.
These light are identical to the original lights on my 2014 boat trailer. Original right side light lasted 4 years of moderate use. Several of the leds on the original light failed. Installed one of these on the right side and it works like a champ. Still have the left side light for future use. Outstanding deal for the low cost...if the new light lasts 4 years like the original lights.

Lasted for 4 salt water fishing trips so far
These have worked very well for the past fishing season. I fish in salt water so the lights went swimming every trip. Unfortunately, we only made it for four trips so far. Very bright lights. Easy to install.

wished they came with better quality hardware, had to go out and buy quality stainless hardware.

Lasted only 2 seasons before water got inside
Worked great (after running a new clean ground) but water got into them after only two seasons which was very disappointing because that was the entire reason to go with this style

Great lights for the price.
For the price, these lights are good quality. I installed them very quickly with the bolts provided and wired them in and they worked perfectly. They are a good size and put out plenty of light.
