Pure enjoyment!
*I received a copy of this book free in exchange for my honest reviewThis is the first of Rachel Harris's Bliss-line books I've read, though I have her first two sitting on my kindle pleading with me to start them and after reading this work of brilliance, I don't think I can resist them any longer! The series is less of a following of the same story and more a following of a few of the characters and their romantic adventures, so even without reading the rest of the series this book can be (and was!) thoroughly enjoyed.I've loved all the books I've read by Rachel Harris and I can't quite put my finger on what is so amazing about her stories, but I can definitely say that the fun in her books plays a big part in their charm. She easily weaves a cute, fun feeling throughout the story and the characters yet still manages to preserve the deeper feelings and revelations in the book.In Accidentally Married on Purpose we follow the story of Sherry Robicheaux and Tyler Blue. If you've read the first two books in the Love and Games series you will have already met Sherry and from what I've read in this book, you would've loved her too! Sherry's smart, confident and has enough snark to fill up a tour bus, just how I like my leading ladies, and the tension between her and Tyler had me hooked on each and every sentence. Tyler Blue is the new character and the hunk of this story. Not only is he a sexy, successful, country-signing, guitar playing God, he also happens to be sweet and sensitive - just try to resist his charms, I dare you. ;)The characters are all written with such enjoyable voices that it's almost impossible not to fall in love with every aspect of this book. Though the story is not a new idea, the way it's written makes it feel like it's the first story of its kind. I am thoroughly impressed by this book and could not recommend it highly enough. Rachel Harris is an absolute genius!!4.5/5!

The Autumn Review for Accidentally Married on Purpose
I have been anxiously awaiting Sherry's book and I have to say...it exceeded every expectation I had! I LOVED this book! I loved every minute.Sherry has always been the wild one of the family, so it's no surprise that she would head to Vegas and end up married. Not only did she get married, but she married a famous country singer. Oh and btw, she doesn't really like country music, but Tyler Blue...he's her exception. What was surprising in a way to me was that even though Sherry has an eclectic flair, she really does want a pretty "normal" life. She wants a good husband, a happy home, and maybe someday, some pretty babies. The other thing I loved about Sherry was, not only was she fun, but she was really sweet too. Not that I expected her to be mean, but she was definitely someone I would gravitate to in real life. Then there Tyler. Yummy, yummy Tyler. So, the marriage started out on a whim, then it became a deal to save Tyler's image. Somewhere along the way, Tyler Blue fell in love with a blue haired girl that blew his world apart! As you can tell, I loved Sherry, but I love Tyler just as much. I loved that he was so consumed by her, even when he didn't particularly let her know he was. But this boy fell hard.On a side note, I loved seeing the other characters from the series. The best part about reading a series for me is getting to know all the characters, so when you see them in later books, it feels like seeing an old family member. It brings a little comfort. Plus, I love seeing how their lives have moved forward.Overall, Accidentally Married on Purpose was perfection. Sherry and Tyler were so much fun, but there was certainly plenty of electricity between them to give me the steamy moments I crave. Shelly and Tyler may have been opposites in many ways, but I think they found that not only do opposites attract, but that they ultimately wanted the same thing in the end...each other. Heart melts.Quotes:~Kissing Sherry wasn't about her damn rules. It wasn't to save his career. This woman was in his arms because he wanted her there.-Loc 1725~Talking was overrated. It let to problems, questions, and revelations about feelings. Since she had the messy kind for Tyler, and he didn't reciprocate, that would lead to her doing the ugly cry. So not attractive. No, if talking had to happen, it'd be after sexy time.-Loc 2379~Love was a strange beast. It came in many forms, and that's why at first she hadn't recognized it. What she felt for Tyler, even before last night, was so drastically different from anything she'd experienced before. This love was empowering, and it have Sherry the strength to do something so completely unlike her. Be selfless.-Loc 2422

Wow! I fell head-over-heels in love with Tyler Blue and his post-it notes. I sobbed like a baby and loved every teary moment.
Wow! I fell head-over-heels in love with Tyler Blue and his post-it notes. I sobbed like a baby and loved every teary moment.I was snagged by the title of this read. This is my first Rachel Harris romance and I am wondering how this is the first time one of her books has crossed my path. I must have been hiding under a rock or something because this author is amazingly talented. Her character development is out of this world. From the blue streaks in Sherry's hair to Tyler's girl, Rachel's characters found their way into my heart. Sherry is so much like me it is not even funny. My streaks are in the front of my face and they are blonde not purple, but the open honesty and sass that Sherry exhibits is what I hope I am achieving in my own persona. Tyler is every girls dream. Not for his stardom, but for what Rachel reveals is his true self. Rachel also tackles breast and ovarian cancer in this read. My best friend died at age 32 of breast cancer, she fought the good fight and this book brought good memories back and also is a good reminder to make sure you go to your check-ups ladies.Vegas, what happens there does not always stay there. After reading this book, even the thought that Tyler and Sherry were not going to be together is preposterous at best. If two people were ever meant to be together it is Sherry and Tyler. I love that Rachel took parts of a real life event and wrote a story around it. The post-it notes were something that Rachel's husband inspired. Those notes really touched my heart and have inspired me to do the same for someone that I care about. Just letting them know that as each day passes someone is thinking about them is huge. This book is a must read. It is completely worthy of 6-stars. I don't give out very many 6-star reviews. I am still blowing my nose and drying my tears after this read. It has evoked so much emotion that it has earned a 6-star rating. Bravo Mrs. Harris! I will be one-clicking every single book you have ever written after reading Accidentally Married on Purpose.

A drunken date that leaves behind more than a hangover
The Love and Games series follows the stories of the Robicheaux siblings, Cane, Colby and Sherry, whose parents used to run a Cajun restaurant in Magnolia Springs, a small town close to New Orleans. Mrs Robicheaux died some years ago and Mr Robicheaux died more recently. Colby is the chef, whose story was told in 'Taste the Heat', Cane's story was told in 'Seven Day Fiance' and he runs the restaurant, and Sherry works front of house at the restaurant. The third book of the series, Accidentally Married on Purpose, focuses on the baby of the family, Sherry. Unlike her older siblings Sherry believes in love. She enters every relationship wholeheartedly, believing this will be forever. Unfortunately, Sherry doesnât have the best taste, having either fallen for men who were only after flings or who cheated her. However, she is determined to turn her life around. Sherry has come up with a plan:âFall for someone boring. It was the solution to her heartache. Her desire to feel wooed and loved meant she always went for the exciting, mysterious types â only to find out later that those guys were mysterious for a reason. They were hiding another woman.âBut before she begins her search for Mr Boring, sheâs promised herself one last fling and she has a good opportunity to do it â Robicheauxâs restaurant has got an order to provide catering to a show in Las Vegas for one of Country musicâs hottest acts, Blue. Sherry has absolutely no interest in country music and she knows nothing about the band, but Las Vegas would be the perfect place for her to find a suitable man for a fling. The bandâs front man, Tyler Blue, is gorgeous and successful. Heâs seen first hand from his fatherâs experience that love and music donât mix and heâs determined to be a success musically so heâs happily single. He is getting grief from his PR people, who tell him that in a musical genre where so many of the songs are about love Blue is beginning to look like a fraud for being perpetually single. Fed up of being harangued for something he has no intention of changing, Tyler goes to grab himself some food from the buffet, and finds himself face to face with a gorgeous brunette. He realises two things. Firstly, the attraction he is feeling is reciprocated. Secondly, the brunette doesnât recognise him, mistaking him for a roadie. Being liked solely for his fame is something Tyler is unfortunately getting used to, so itâs an attractive idea to spend some time with somebody who doesnât want anything from him, and he fully intends to correct her misunderstanding of who he is before anything happens between them. Sherry is thrilled to have found the right man for her fling:âIf a life with Mr. Boring and Dependable was to be her destiny, then a lust-filled weekend with Tyler-the-hunkalicious-roadie would surely fuel her fantasies for the next fifty years. Or longer.âAfter an amazing, day-long date, the two of them hit the casino. Tyler wakes up in bed wearing a wedding band and having flashbacks, while poor Sherry wakes up nude in the bathroom, having adjourned there with some boozy sickness:âSherry raised her eyes to her reflection.âWhat the freaking hell?!?âShe was wearing a wedding veil.A wedding veil was on her head. It was white. It had lace. And it was on her freaking head. She didnât have single stitch of clothing on her body otherwise, but she did have that.âNow I know this is a bit clichĂ©d but I always enjoy a story involving a mistaken wedding! As far as I know (from what I saw in the news when Britney Spears got married in Las Vegas!) you need a marriage licence to get married in Las Vegas and it isnât actually possible just to turn up somewhere and get married, but itâs an entertaining concept so I put that thought aside! Both Sherry and Tyler agree to end the marriage â she needs to get on with her life plan and find Mr. Boring and Tyler is going to get on with his life, but somehow the news gets out. Tyler has been persuaded by his âpeopleâ that a marriage would take the heat off his career. Sherry doesnât want to be seen as a joke. She thinks itâs preferable for people to believe that she has married in an impulsive whirlwind romance rather than in a drunken haze, so they agree, Tyler can stay with her for a month and then heâll be touring anyway so the marriage can peter out, with his touring schedule being the reason for their break up. Sherry has some ground rules though. Firstly, she wants to get full benefit from this sham marriage, which means she wants to be wooed and treated, for once, like sheâs adored. Secondly, there will be no sex. The weekend with Tyler is the first time Sherry has ever attempted a fling, sheâs only ever had relationships in the hope theyâd become something more and if their relationship is physical she worries that she will come to feel more for him than she should. How will Sherry manage to keep her heart after intact being wooed for a whole month? And how will she know whatâs real and whatâs just for show?I so enjoyed this romance. The characters in the other books in this series are likeable but Sherry is just adorable! She is funny, and generous and really loveable. Since she was protected by her family from knowing the secret regarding their parents Sherry is much less cynical regarding love, which is ironic, as she has less luck in love than any of them, throwing herself full into relationships with guys who have never proved to be worth it. Tyler is very sweet too, living his dream for both himself and his father and never questioning whether it is possible to compromise. I also enjoyed the fact that Sherry didnât passively sit back and wait for things to happen, she was a modern woman and willing to go for things. This was a great way to end the series.

which is good. I liked the characters and the premise
This book held my attention throughout, which is good. I liked the characters and the premise. It's the third book set in the country music scene that I've read recently. To gain more stars from me it would have needed to 'put me there' more than it did. A good fun read, though, and I might well read more Rachel Harris. A new author for me.
