Works prefect for 55 gallon barrel just need zip ties 😁
Cage is great for the price, worked on my 55 gallon barrel, yes it is a little flimsy, but used some zip ties and that u need to make it sturdy.

These are great! We haven't had any problems with raccoons or squirrels since we installed them. I have installed 4 on our feeders and will buy them again if I need to. There are only 2 drawbacks for me. It does cause more corn to fall under the feeder which, unfortunately, the cows love. 2nd is the little snaps. They are hard to operate with my old hands in cold weather. No way to get hands with gloves to operate them. I switched them out with larger dog snaps.

Keep Critters Out
Bought one from Academy and found the exact same one on Amazon cheaper and free shipping. I have 3 of these total mounted on the bottom of a black wild game poly barrel feeder. They work great keeping coons, squirrels, birds, and deer from emptying your feeder early.After installing these and a solar panel I know exactly how long the corn will last before going empty. The deer no longer nose all the corn out and the coons hang all over it but cant access the spinner or rip the battery out and destroy the feeder anymore.In my opinion this vamit cage is as important as the corn that goes in it. They are decent sized and fairly easy it install in the field

Doesn't fit
The ad stated 12.5" square. Had it actually been that dimension it would have fit just fine. That's why I ordered it. But what showed up was a cage over 14" square which was too big. I returned it.

Sturdy, fits 55 gal drum and works good for raccoons
Great for 55 gallon homemade drum feeder. Was a little worried about being sturdy enough after looking at other reviews, but this works great so far I have not had to reinforce it in any way the cage holds together well. I have raccoons on game camera and they haven’t managed to get into it so it’s doing it’s job well.
