FobusStandard Paddle Holster J357ND, Black

The holster itself is not all that bad. Comfort is quite good, although I didn't care much for the way the muzzle was canted away from my hip. I'd much prefer it was angled so the muzzle end of the holster was right up against my hip, not standing 3/4" away. Firearm retention is good, you can crank down the screw as tight as you want.The reason for only two stars, is the product description on the package says it will fit any .38 or .357 J-frame Smith and Wesson, and I have both. It only fits my 38, it will not holster my .357 and it's not a shrouded barrel. And of course, I tried this out with the .38 and thought I could live with it, then today (9 days after the return period closed) I tried it with the .357 and it's a no-go. There's just not enough room for it, period.

I use this holster with a Smith and Wesson Model 637 (snub nose .38 Airweight). Although this is an inexpensive holster, I like everything about it's performance. Good retention and super comfortable.

Does NOT fit S&W J-Frame pistols. For an item that is designed and marketed to do exactly that, its hard to fathom how bad the fit was. Even with the set screw REMOVED, My S&W 360PD wont even fit all the way into the holster. The holster is much too small in 6 or 7 different areas, The fit is WAY off, no amount of adjustment or break-in will make it work. I don't recommend, Spend your money elsewhere.

This Fobus holster is a perfect fit for my Smith and Wesson model 637-2 (Airweight J Frame, 1.87" barrel). It is lightweight and comfortable.

Easy to place in all types clothing with or without belt.
