NEW Gal Fighters game for Neo Geo Pocket Color NeoGeo

Whenever people buy the Neo Geo Pocket Color, one of the first recommended games is King of Fighters R-2. But if you're a real go-getter for fighting games, then this is one of the games that you SHOULD have in your collection.Gal's Fighters is a crossover game between female characters from various SNK fighting game franchises, with the exception of one character (whether you think he is a joke character or not is up to you). You get to pick KoF favorites such as Mai Shirinui and Shermie as well as Samurai Shodown! characters Nakoruru and Shiki. There are also a couple of exclusive characters not available in other NGPC games, Whip and Yuki.The stages and music are quite impressive for a handheld game. The gameplay itself is similar to that of King of Fighters, but feels slightly faster. There is also a mechanic when both fighters dash towards each other, they get into a brawl in which you have to tap buttons to gain the advantage. It's a simple game, good to pick up and play, and has high replay value to me. The only thing it is really missing is a cheap SNK boss. Whether or not that is a good thing is up to you, but I'm personally glad that there isn't one to muck up the game.

Graphics look better and gameplay is smoother on this game compared to the other fighting games on the NGPC. But there's not as many characters as SNK vs. Capcom.

I was surprised to find this game on here. The game itself is fun. It is definitely a collector's item. I recommend this to anyone who has or is thinking of getting a Neo Geo Pocket Color.
