Excellent!!
Excellent!!! I was (and still am) a fan of the T3's (second generation triumphs). It was time to pay homage to these great bikes. They had so much character and "specialness" about them. Totally over-engineered bikes with substantial heft, but rock solid and very dependable. My all time fav bike out of the 1st generation T3's is the iconic Speed Triple 900. The BIG, BAD, BRAWNY NEO CAFE/STREETFIGHTER menace was the bike to have (and the Super 3). I was there when Triumph announced that they would be coming to the US for the 1995 year, and to actually see the Speed Triple with the naked eye...up close and personal was a sight to remember. Triumph motorcycles have been around for over 100 years and they are still thriving. Although the company is still thriving, and most of the bikes from Gen 1 are still in production, but I have to be honest here.....those 1st generation Hinckley bikes were simply 'Special".....from the built quality, and presence...down to the decal!!! a special bike and time.

Own a Hinckely Triumph? You should own this book.
This is a must-own for any Hinckley Triumph enthusiast. It has a lot of insight and its clear the author did a lot of research and work in collecting all the information. My only knocks are some grammar errors here and there. In one section they're talking about one model and you turn the page and all of a sudden it mentions a different one. Not a flaw in information, just printed the wrong model there. There's also a few missing spaces after periods. Not a reason to not buy it - as I say - a must own for any enthusiast or anyone who owns one, really.

A Must for T3 Owners and Collectors!
Fantastic book for Triumph T3 bikes, Well researched and very helpful for identifying bike models, and has helped to stop me spending a large amount of money on a Daytona 900 that was allegedly a Super III. And for that Mr Clarke I thank you.Only one error that I could find was that the Triumph Daytona 750's and 1000's actually came in 3 colours and not 2.Assam Black, Lancaster Red and Radiant Red.

Be careful of misprints - wrong pages
This is a great book if you want the history of Hinckley's early Triumphs. However once I started reading it I was gutted as a Daytona owner to find that page 74 is the wrong page :-(Halfway through the Daytona story is a page on the Triumph Trophy, so my advice is have a quick flick through as soon as you get it to make sure its all good.I left it to late to ask for a refund.
