This very much so helps with the extraction of motherboard and circuit boards. They have little hooks that are hard to see with the naked eye to grab the board and with one switch motion grab and snag off of the board it is great, especially when you are working on smaller parts and you don't want to lose them they grab it so it remains just as long as you have them pushed closed.they are a great asset to all the needs you may have them for. They are made of a great quality metal and have a strong plastic base that is on the heavier side and you can use them over and over.The hooks are metal so you don't have to worry about them getting hot if you are using a soldering iron.

I don't know if a more expensive one would be better.This one seams a little large on the tips and I had to force it down by the chip.I was worried I would break the board.

Works like a charm. Never again will I know the pain of replacing a PLCC socket I cracked by trying to pry the chip out without an extractor!

The product quality is bad for the price, the plastic has flaws and when I opened the package the metal parts were a bit bend. It's still serving it's purpose so it's not a complete failure, but I was expecting more quality.

This is basically a piece of garbage.It takes massive amounts of fiddling to arrange it appropriately and even then the mechanism barely works.

works perfect. It was exactly what I needed.

It worked to pull 2 chips on the third one side bent straight almost ruining the chip I was pulling out. Returned for refund the next day. Just spend 10$ and buy one from Radio Shack. I would not recommend it to anyone.

... der seinen Zweck voll und ganz erfüllt.Diverse PLCC-Sockets sind ein wenig enger gebaut, da sollte diese Zange nicht all zu fest zugedrückt werden - ansonsten rutscht der IC unvorhergesehen raus und die Zange verbiegt die Beinchen des IC. Das ist aber PLCC-bauartbedingt.

Producto económico, pero el extremo de la pinza es estrecho y con un reborde bastante alto. Puede ser difícil o imposible hacerla entrar debajo de chips que estén muy apretados. Existen otros modelos de extractores en Amazon con una pinza amplia y plana, que son mucho más idóneos para extraer de manera segura chips como los Atmega328p de las placas Arduino UNO. Eine Woche Lieferzeit aus China ist gar nicht so lange. Der IC Zieher ist in Ordnung und der Preis ist günstig.
