Irish Songs for Ukulele

Mr. Sheridan has produced several good ukulele song books. I usually find some small errors in them but they have not detracted from the value. This book has many "show songs" that I don't care for. But there are quite a few real gems that make the book worth while indeed. Make yourself an uke key changer wheel from http://www.cathyschords.com/changingthekey.htm so that you can adjust the key to your singing voice.

I didn't see much value-added in here beyond what I could find on the internet, unless it's simply for having a large number of good tunes all in one place. I like the songs, but these arrangements are thoroughly uninteresting.

The Kindle version is less great, as it's hard to read. I also bought the paper version of this book, and I love it! I've added notes, ratings, and practiced (and learned) many of my favorite Irish songs. If you like Irish music and want to play it on your ukulele, you should totally get this book, in whichever format you prefer (or both).

I ordered this for a friend who was relearning the Uke after a number of years. Also, our little trio has an St. Pat's day gig coming up. This has some really good songs in it.

Tab is very basic. Gives you the basic melody, but not very interesting. Chords are fine, but it's up to you to figure out how to combine the two to get something more than a basic strum along.

I really like this book. The song selection and layout is very nice, but it is super hard to read on the Kindle. I would recommend the print version of this book over the electronic version.

Great collection for the lover of Irish music.

Me ha gustado mucho y la verdad es que de las canciones más tradicionales y populares no echo de menos ninguna. Es una gran compra para seguir practicando con tu Ukelele.

This book was full of great traditional Irish tunes. What was best about it was the fact it had tabs, chords, notes and lyrics.

Raccolta bellissima, fatta molto bene con notazione musicale, intavolatura, accordi e testi, arrivata in anticipo di un giorno, consigliatissima.
