It’s really heavy, easy to get used to. I should have gotten a smaller size because it is big. I fretted over which one to get, I cannot speak for the other brands, this one is wonderful. It’s filled with glass beads, but I don’t see how because they don’t shift around at all. It kinda molds to you, it gave me comfort right away but it took a couple of nights to get used to the weight. I used to flop around and shake my leg but now I stay put. I highly recommend this blanket.

I have trouble sleeping often and I'd say I sleep a bit better with it. Though no amount of blanket weight will neutralize an erratic mind, it's noticably different sliding into bed with this blanket because its weight grips you like a warm embrace. So I think I fall asleep faster. I'm satisfied and will stick with weighted blankets. It is warm though. But unavoidable considering it's weight. Basically the equivalent of layering an absurd amount of blankets, which was something I remember doing as a child. I think it'll serve me well as the weather gets colder. Peace.

Bought the blanket to help with my insomnia based on a friend's recommendation. While I have only had it a few nights and the weight takes some getting used to the pressure seems to be helping. Last night was one of the better nights sleep I have had in a while. The blanket itself is well made and seems durable. Time will tell but might actually be a winner. Never would have thought the weight of blanket would matter.

I watched/compared my sleep pattern before and after using a weighted blanket. Results were remarkable, to say least.I finally put the FitBit on my oldest son, let him borrow my FitBit and blanket for 7 days. His results were shocking. He wasn’t waking up much through the night at all. Which was a blessing for him. He has always had issues falling asleep and stay asleep.I went ahead and purchased this blanket for him as he does suffer from ADHD and Anxiety. He absolutely loves this blanket. He sleeps better, stays asleep and feels better rested than with a tradition blanket.

I bought this to combat some anxiety and to help me sleep. It took some getting used to, but it definitely does the job. Still relatively new, so quality is still good. I would recommend trying a slightly lighter one, if you've never used one before.

The first night I used this product I fell right to sleep, I usually never fall asleep. Within 5 minutes I fell right to sleep and stood asleep. Amazing !!

I like the blanket and the cover BUT, you say if you weigh so many pounds you should get this pound blanket. My daughter weighs 120 but the only way she felt comfortable with the 15 pound blanket was if it was folded in half. Making it a 30 pound blanket. A 25 pound one is probably what is what she needs. I tried it out. And that is what I need too. I am returning it because I just can't use this. I am so bummed. It is very well made and the cover for it feels so nice.

I was so excited and anxious about using my blanket, that i wanted a week to use my blanket before giving a review. My blanket arrived and I couldn’t wait for bedtime to try it out. I usually toss and turn for a hour or so before being able to fall asleep and even once asleep I wake up many times throughout the night. The 1st night with this blanket I was asleep before I knew it and didn’t wake up until my alarm went off. I felt so rested. Night #2 same thing, was asleep in no time and this night I did wake up once but still felt rested in the morning. Nights 3-5 all have been the same quality of sleep. I absolutely love this blanket. My son even asked to try it out and he liked it too! My blanket is the 60” x 80” and is 20 #, I was a little concerned that I might feel like I’m being smootherd, but it doesn’t feel like that at all. I actually don’t want to get out from under my blanket. Per the recommendations to adjust the temperature in the room , I did do that as you do get warm even if the temperature in the room is cooler. I would absolutely recommend this blanket. I will mention that my blanket is the queen size and if you are looking to have the blanket laid out and expect it to fall over the edge of bed then I will let you know now that is not how big this blanket is. The top of a queen size bed is 60” x 80” and that is basically the size of this blanket. I sleep alone so for me this is not a issue, but if you sleep with someone else who also wants to use the blanket then I would say to maybe buy 2 or possibly 2 twin size blankets. I will definitely be buying another to use for when I travel. ( A twin size of course) . I actually look forward to going bed now.
