The vest features dual side elastic straps and over-the-shoulder adjustability for a secure fit on a wide range of body sizes. Each vest includes a set of eight cooling packs that maintain a cool -- but not cold -- temperature of 59° F for up to 2.5 hours in 100° F heat. The packs are powered by PureTemp, a nontoxic phase change material known for its consistent, repeatable performance over thousands of melting-solidification cycles. SIZING: The sports vest comes in one size designed to fit most adults. It weighs just under 5 pounds, including cooling packs, and will fit chest sizes between 29 inches and 52 inches. Extender strap sets, sold separately, are available for larger adults. Search for "GT extender set for Glacier Tek sports cooling vest" or B07D1R8SNF. Need something smaller? The Glacier Tek Children's Cool Vest weighs less than 3 pounds, including cooling packs. It is designed for children who weigh between 30 and 90 pounds. It also fits some adults who weigh less than 100 pounds. Three Ways to Charge GlacierPacks: • Submerge your glacierpack set in ice water for 20 minutes (or in a mountain stream!) • Place the GlacierPack set in your freezer for one hour • Place GlacierPack set in your refrigerator for two hours How to use: • GlaicerPack sets must be charged before each use • Insert two GlacierPacks- one large and one small – into each interior pocket • Glacier Tek cooling vests are most effective when worn snugly around your torso. Your vest can be worn over or under your T-shirt, your uniform or whatever you prefer. In less demanding conditions, you may lighten your vest by using a single large GlacierPack in each pocket. ## Features - PREPARE TO BE COOL: Our vest maintains a dry, comfortable 59°F for up to 2.5 hours in 100°F heat. - HOW IT WORKS: The cooling vest has four interior pockets that hold packs snug against the torso. The charged packs will pull heat out of the body’s core which will lower effectively lowering the users body temperature and delivering a sensation of cooling. It is simple science, no gimmicks here. The packs work as heat absorbers, a cooling solution that keeps your clothes dry and works in humidity. - EASY RECHARGE: The cooling packs recharge in about 20 minutes in ice water (or a mountain stream), one hour in the freezer, or two hours in the refrigerator. - MULTIPLE USES: Ideal for athletes, construction workers, landscapers, MS patients and others. This really helped me survive the recent heat waves of summer 2026. I put one set of cooling packs in our mini fridge and swap them out at breaks. Keeps my core temp down so I sweat less and don't get heat stroke. I like that it is adjustable to any body. Absolutely recommend this for anyone working outside. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great way to prevent overheating while working outdoors *by on Reviewed in the United States August 22, 2026* I am a utility location tech, which means I work outside every day. All day. With the record breaking temperatures Minnesota has experienced this summer, the glacier tek cool vest has been my saving grace. The adjustable straps allow you to tighten the vest to fit any body type, creating the cooling packs to rest nice and snug against your body. The glacier tek vest stays cool for hours, is light weight, and easy to use!Highly recommend for those who work outdoors. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I would give a "Tall" size five stars *by on Reviewed in the United States September 9, 2026* 6'3" MOverall this works well and I'm happy I bought it and I would buy it again. But I would buy a tall version and give that five stars. They made a real sacrifice making this universal sizeI need the overall vest longer and I need each of the ice packs to have at least one if not two more sectionsUnfortunately, I'm still heavily using it in September here in the Phoenix Metro area. It does help provide some cooling and I'm glad I bought the extra ice packs because I do rotate them. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/127905770-sports](https://www.desertcart.co.il/products/127905770-sports) --- *Product available on Desertcart Israel* *Store origin: IL* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
