I purchased the books for my two sons who are majoring in Film Production in Los Angeles so I haven't read it myself. The boys are in the first year of college and already say that this book and the other books that they needed for budgeting will be useful throughout their careers. Thank you Amazon for having reasonably priced books available to rent or buy for students. With 3 in college, I search for any way to save.

It does as the title says. Outdated a bit but I assume it doesnt change much with contracts

Great book that offers an overview of the major legal aspects of the entertainment business. Also comes with lots of case studies and contract templates.

Great Companion supplement for Entertainment Law: Cases and Materials in Established and Emerging Media (American Casebook Series).

A lot of great info from this book. Had to buy it for my entertainment law class in film school and must say it was a great buy.

Buy this book, along with Kelly Crabb's book "The Movie Business," it's an invaluable resource for determining legal approaches to production issues.

I am still reading it but have already learned a lot about the process of buying and selling films in todays market
