The media could not be loaded.  Part Maine coon super fluffy cat seemed to enjoy it. She should be the cat model for this product! She loves this for her back and sides, but not as much for her problem areas, so we had to stealth brush/comb/rake her underside. It removed much more fur and faster than I expected. If you look at the pictures and watch the video you will see the fur is literally flying. I recommend having a broom or vacuum close at hand or the fur will spread everywhere. The pictures were taken before we did her belly and haunches. With fall approaching she comes in the house with leaves and briars stuck to her and forming mats if we miss them right away. This should definitely help.

We are both loving this brush! I don’t like cutting my kitties hair because I love him at maximum fluffiness and his hair appointments are way more expensive than mine; however, he gets matted really bad and sheds so bad. This brush gets his under coat really well and I’m hoping we won’t need to shave him nearly as often or at all! He seems to really love getting brushed with this as well.

I would have never dreamed that something like this would remove as much undercoat as this does. I would have never even dreamed that my Border Collie even had this much loose hair. It's rediculous.*EDIT* I didn't realize it was cutting my Border Collies hair. I should have done some more research on it. My fault, not theirs. If you are looking for a comb that demats and cuts hair, this is an excellent choice.

I thought I liked this product but I officially do not recommend. Ever since I've used this on Ivy and Enzo and Ella and Benjamin (yes. I have four cats two are mainecoons and I am with them 100 percent of the day due to a mental condition I have. So I know them well and know their fur very well) it takes out the knots with ease and doesn't hurt any of them but the problem is all their fur is now chopped. Spikey. They look sickly at times because the fur is all uneven. I will be thoroughly upset if it does not go back to normal. It seems to be taking a long time and I'm afraid it will never grow back. I will be calling the groomers today to request help whick will cost an exorbitant amount of money that I was trying to avoid by getting this. I'm sorry but I can not recommend this and am instead giving a warning to anyone who cares about their cats as much as I do. This product did not work on all four cats and possibly ruined their fur for good.

This is life changing, works better than my $60 f*rminator and it's only $8. Seriously so easy & effective, removed mats quickly & painlessly. My giant Maine Coon gets brushed daily but this tool is amazing!

I adopted two long hair cats a few months ago. My little boy cat loves to be groomed and doesn't really care what brush I use but my little girl cat has run away crying from every other brush except this one. She's still not a fan but she tolerates it and that's good enough. It helps that this brush is small, she's only 7 lbs so I think the other brushes were too large and frightened her. The brush does a great job of getting the extra undercoat out quickly. Since I got this one they haven't had any issues with their long hair matting. And it pulls out so much excess hair they aren't consuming as much when they groom themselves and it really cut back on the number of hairballs they had. Once I added in a little bit of salmon oil to one of their meals each day the hairballs stopped. Both of my cats feel so soft and smooth all the time now. It's also very easy to clean off the extra hair from the brush.

This dermatting comb is easy to use and very effective. It has double sided rows of metal hooks that are slightly pointy but not sharp at all. You would be able to grab it hard by the hooks and not get poked at all, so it is very gentle on your skin and the cat’s skin. On one side, there are six widely spaced hooks; on the other side, there are 11 closely spaced hooks.In the past few months, my 7 year old, medium long haired cat has developed several long and sticky fur mats around and under her neck area – which I tried using scissors to cut. Since they were so close to her skin, I could only get the top portion of the mats; I didn’t want to take chances hurting her by cutting closer to her skin - especially when you have a wiggly cat that is turning her head all different ways.It was not a problem introducing my 7 year old to this special comb since she’s used to being frequently brushed; therefore, I began by using the side with the six widely spaced hooks to comb under the fur mat, using short, gentle strokes all around the mat until the fur mat easily and painlessly dislodged itself.I’m so glad I came across this dermatting comb because both my cat and I love it!

I have very fluffy white Radgoll cat that sheds constantly and she has been looking very unkempt. I have a traditional small wired brush that she loves but it never grabbed enough hair.This products is crazy awesome! It works so well after just a couple passes there was a noticeable amount of fur coming from the brush. She started to slowly look more and more normal and less like a big cotton ball. It’s definitely something you have to get used to. I can see why this would be better for dogs in a way because it can tug slightly. To a very picky cat it makes her irritated pretty quickly but she has very long fine soft hair and if I put too much pressure it does meet some resistance before making a full pass through her fur. She doesn’t like it as much as her old brush but I’m slowly doing a little at a time every day. Much better then cutting fur and when you do use this turn any fans off or the hair will go flying all around the room (if you do this inside). This is a great tool for maintenance and keeping your cat clean, healthy, and happy (less hairballs anyone?). Keep your environment clean and free from excessive pet allergens from extra shedding. Great for all year round.Only thing I dislike is I can’t wash it. I would like to also use this on our dog but my cat wouldn’t tolerate the smell of dog on her brush.
