Nicely made handheld
This radio seems very well built and designed like all the Uniden products I’ve owned. The sound quality is great, and it takes about 10 seconds to figure out how to use it, it’s very simple. I will say it drains batteries fast, so get the rechargeable batteries for it. Seems to have decent power and range with the right antenna. And the ability to charge the rechargeables with the power cable is neat. Also a great value for the price, can easily be made into a small mobile unit for a car in temporary setups.

Don't waste your money buy a Cobra.
Radio worked fine for 3 uses. Went use it again and it would not power on. I thought maybe me or my wife had not turned it off after the last use. I replaced all the batteries. Still no change. I took the cheap route when I purchased this. My other one that works flawlessly is a Cobra. I will stick with Cobra from now on. My Cobra one I have had for nearly 20 years and it still works like a champ. Just ordered a new Cobra so I will have set.

Easy to use. Clear reception.
Seems to transmit and recurve with clarity. Just not many pale using CB these days to get much out of them.

Good product but limited reach
These has longer reach than the average walkie-talkies, but not long enough to cover a mile for realistic application.

Nice value
Got this one used as a back up for $46, it’s similar to the cobra model I bought. Have to say, the cobra was $10 more, and it’s a much nicer radio. Cobra added weather, and the ability to toggle between channels 9, 19 and the weather, with one button. I compared them both to reception and they both pulled in signals very clearly. The uniden did sound a little better pulling in signals. But it’s a basic radio, no ability to lock in channels, just plug and play. If you’re wanting a cb to do something more, get the cobra, but I’ve got no complaints on the uniden.
